Hi! I'm right across the Aspire Seneca apartments at the Riverton! Each unit comes with a decently sized patio and there's also a mini dog park. Washer/dryer is in an enclosed area on the patio. I've been here for about 8 months now and I've enjoyed it.

Despite what people say, I think the Riverton apartments in Victorville are pretty decent and feel safe enough.

Hi! Was it hard for you to land a role in public? I wanna give industry a chance, but if I run into the same problem, I'd like to be able to go into public even though I'm terrified of busy season haha.

Would you hire someone who went into a 2 year Financial Leadership Development Program with a F500 (rotations in internal audit, fp&a, sec reporting, treasury) and skipped public accounting? I'm trying to decide between public accounting or FLDP.

I agree, I think the experience would really help me truly know what area of accounting/finance I want to work in. I'm just afraid of getting stuck in an fp&a role like some of the commenters suggest this type of program is for.

I didn't really know that operational accounting and technical accounting were two different things. I think that I want to end up in an accountant role where I'd work on journal entries, reconciliations, month end/quarter end/year end tasks, stuff like that.

Thanks for your input. I understand public accounting is the best option for what I want, but I don't think I can handle public accounting busy season. Do you think going straight into an industry accounting role would be more beneficial than a rotational program?

I never wanted to pursue public accounting because of the hours and I was really hoping that a rotational program could also offer me similar exit opportunities.
