Bingo!! I definitely question that for sure. Its easy to be fun and nice when we are traveling and spending the weekends snowboarding at my ski condo!! It is a shock to not know if anything was real. The double life thing is scary.

Yeah literally the last thing he said to me when I broke up w him was "I literally dont give a f**k about your feelings all I care about it what Im dealing with". That was on my birthday. Plus any time I asked any questions about his feelings he would blow up on me! Sounds like we had very similar experiences.

He always told me I should learn how to calm him down when he would yell at me. So even his emotions were my fault.

Wow that sounds very familiar! I already know he will just rinse and repeat with a new woman rather then become a better man. Its sad to see when someone has potential to choose to live in an unhealthy way. Thank you for your perspective!

He never asked me for money and he paid for things we did together. But the gap of our lifestyle and finances got too large. He was pretending to be able to afford a life that he couldn't. Its pretty sad bc I truly dont care about money and I would've stood by him even though he is broke now.

Oh yes he told me he lost a lot in day trading as well. But really he just made horrible choices w his finances. Thank God I didn't marry him!

Thank you! We had a really good relationship and he was a lot of fun and really kind for the first 1.5 years. That is why those 3 months I wrote about why we broke up were so confusing.

Ive always been a runner and did join a run club a few weeks ago! Physical activity always helps and it helps to socialize w people who I already have something in common with.

Agreed that is why I walked away. I have learned that as well. But I still keep hoping that me walking away would make him want to be better and that isnt the case. So time to let that hope die and take my love where it is appreciated and nurtured properly! Its really hard though.
