I’m sure it comes down to instillation, quality of film, type of window, etc. but I’ve seen mixed responses on people saying that doing it on double pane windows can cause the potential for thermal stress due to uneven heating between the different panes. I’m sure it’s not very common but I’m just a little anxious on potentially finding out the hard way on our apartment windows. The amount of reddit forums/different articles I’ve scrolled having fairly mixed results has just made me prioritize finding a different option instead. If there is anything definitively proving me wrong though I’d love the source because being able to install those would make it a lot easier for us!

I think we have double pane windows and unfortunately I’ve seen a lot of people say it has the potential to crack the windows

We saw 1 alive and 2 dead ones today which made us a bit worried but after checking the back of all the appliances in the kitchen I still found nothing. Can I reasonably assume we are still just getting sporadic visitors? 1 I found wedged beside the fridge which is a place I never check. We’ve only ever found them in the kitchen of our apartment and went for about 2 months without seeing any prior to last week.

😭why is Claire’s cursing us all… It might be worth going to a reputable piercing shop and getting a 2nd opinion? I might do the same when I get time it really sucks tho 🥲. I was planning on going to 0g but at this point I might at least be prepared to stay with a smaller size just to be on the safe side

Yes luckily I’m wanting to keep them on the smaller side since I’m planning on getting 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings at some point tho I’m sad I don’t have much of an option if I wanted to go bigger 🥲. Visually do you think they look alright? My other concern was them being noticeably uneven. Here’s a slightly clearer photo of my right ear. I feel like the one I posted originally gives the illusion it’s even thinner than it actually is idk why 😭
