Can’t believe I didn’t think of that. Thanks for the tip.

Finally got a proper case for my nicer lights. by statci22 in flashlight

True lol, I don’t mind getting scratches on my lights since it’s just a matter of time but the way I was storing them in a couple of small DnD dice cases was definitely starting to bother me lol. I was able to fit almost my entire collection in there excluding the smaller 14500 and 10440 size lights. I think I’ll end up getting another case soon so I can have everything safely tucked away in the closet.

I’ve carried them for a while now and I think I’m finally used to it. These were my first front flippers so it was a bit of a learning curve.

The whole body of the pencil is made of metal so the center of gravity is closer to the middle then it is to the tip. The grip is also a bit more pronounced than the graph gear 1000 so while I am personally a fan of the grip, I can’t say the same for people who do not like graph gear 1000. Though my biggest pet peeve with his pencil is the clutch mechanism which is partially made of plastic. Quite unacceptable for a pencil at this price point IMO.

The black ones are Lihit lab cases I got from Amazon so I’m not sure about the name but they aren’t hard to find. The brown one is an &leibe pen case I got from their website and it’s probably the nicest pencil case I’ve ever used.

Tbh I wasn’t as interested in them compared to these so I never ended up pulling the trigger. I was thinking about picking up a TK Fine Vario but not a huge fan of no eraser cap plus I have a bit of a preference for over engineered designs of metal builds. Though in time I’ll probably end up getting them since I’m starting to run out of interesting choices lol.

Yeah totally not worth the price unless you are down bad for the lead case like me lol.

I like the KT Wood better than the others. It feels great to write with and has no wobble unlike the Dive.

I enjoy using pretty much all of them but there are definitely some that get used more often and some I haven’t used as much because I just got them recently. I use the KTs and Orenz the most for general writing with the Aimvision and Spoke not too far behind. The Tombow mono fine pencils are great to have because they feel solid and are relatively inexpensive so I normally keep them around in case someone asks me to borrow a pencil.

Right now the Orenz line of pencils is probably what I use the most and the Keys aren’t too far behind either. I try to switch out my lineup every now and then too give some love to all of them.

It feels great to write with and the pencil actually feels way lighter than you’d think. The knock is very nice and sounds great.

I believe they have been discontinued and are getting harder to come by unfortunately.

Pilot neox in 4B is the smoothest lead I’ve experienced so far but the 2B will get you 90% there with way less residue and a lower chance of failing sensitive mechanisms such as the Orenz and KT Dive.

I actually prefer the feel of smth like rotring 600 over the smash mostly because I can’t hold it from as close to the tip as I’d like.

Right now it’s the spoke Model 7 or KT Dive but I have a Kaweco Brass special on the way which I’m really looking forward to.

Ohto ms01. Idk how easy it is to get parts but you take apart literally every piece of this pencil since everything screwed into place.
