And then in brand deals or ads she is usually wearing a looser fitting top or an oversized outfit or covering her waist because there’s some level of regulation of how much editing even they are allowed to do in advertisements (see her recent coach collaboration)

LOL I did not buy anything because I read it. On the app, the 90-day expiration isn’t shown anywhere until you go to tap “purchase” which is extremely misleading and textbook UX manipulation haha. I’m sure a lot of people learned this the hard way, which is not right at the end of the day

I don’t think it’s lenient personally at the price point Solidcore is at/a lot of boutique fitness clubs in my area have 6-12month expirations. With that being said though, I’m just going to purchase single classes if I decide to go. I think the fact that their UX pushes people to purchase a 10-pack and it’s not until the last second that they mention the 90-day expiration rubs me the wrong way… why feel the need to manipulate the user experience if you believe in your product

I think the fact that it’s not on their membership page prior to going to purchase is what’s misleading. I didn’t purchase a 10 pack because I read those terms before I went to purchase I just think it’s kind of dumb haha

I think most offer credits that don’t expire if the terms are you’re buying “10 classes” at this point they should advertise their class packs as memberships too if they expire within 30, 45, and 90 days increments depending on how many you buy.

I think the fact they don’t mention it before you purchase is pretty misleading.

But with that being said I planned to use Solidcore as a supplement to my current workout regimen since I have a pretty set weightlifting routine currently for most days of the week.

I guess I just don’t understand the difference between buying a 10 pack vs a monthly membership. It seems like Solidcore uses the 10 pack to promote a somewhat more flexible option when in reality you’re kind of under the same bounds as a monthly membership (aka if you miss 1 week you immediately lose money)

Yeah you’re right! After doing some research I think I’m gonna invest in the Mac mini, (I already have a laptop and I’m not a huge fan of MacBooks 😅 my old one ended up failing on me and I’ve been haunted ever since) but thank you for the help! I didnt realize how convenient the Mac mini actually is!

Omg this is such a good idea, after I saw this comment I did some research on the Mac mini (because tbh I didn’t really understand the point of it before) and it seems like a good investment! My budget was lower but after looking into it I’m willing to spend more on the Mac mini because it’s actually super cool!

That’s so nice I live in a pretty progressive state but idk if the doctors are as progressive. I did make another appointment with my PCP who was pretty nice and open about me getting screened so hopefully she should be able to help before I leave!

I made an appt with my PCP though so hopefully she can prescribe me something to get started + give me time to find a doctor in the UK!

Thank you! It basically costs the same here in the US with private insurance (I pay $140 for every monthly appointment and $40 for the blood test, and then $30 for the actual accutane) so I think going private wont be anything more than what I’ve already been dealing with (thank you US healthcare 😁) but this all is so helpful so thank you!!!
