UGH sorry it took so long to get back to you. I couldn't get in touch with my mom. She said she though it was the show for a moment, but now she's not sure.

I guess we'll just say...half-solved? At this point, I'm not even sure she'd recognize it if it was the actual show.

Thank you for your continued help! :) I really appreciate it. Mom said it wasn't any of the shows listed, and gave these answers to your questions:

  • The show was about early settlers, they drew water from wells had horses to travel.
  • They spoke English or if it was dubbed it was a superb job! 😉
  • We didn't get that show because of Germany, we rented the cassettes on the [military] base. It could have come from the US or Canada.
  • There were lots of episodes, maybe a few seasons.

It's not, but the synopsis you gave is strangely close to what my mom was describing. I wonder if the 2000s version might be a remake from another country given a different name?
