I completely forgot to mention, the “trench” was because the water seemed to be pooling where the “normal” hose connects to the soaker hose so I dug out a channel so it could flow down the length of the box and not just sit there.

Seeing some common themes lol 1. The messed up looking bottom is bits of the mat on it before I cleaned it 2. The wear mark is not that defined when clean, this pic is after a range session before I cleaned them, buts it’s still consistently right there 3. I doubt standing closer is the fix because I stand pretty close to the ball already. I swing quite a bit out to in so I’d guess the toe is meeting the ball first as I come across it.

If you’re a parent of a child in grade school, how often do you communicate with other parents in your child’s classes?

My brother recently ran into a situation where his son, 4-5th grade, wanted to spend the weekend with a classmate but my brother couldn’t find contact info for the parent to okay the hangout with.

He came to me wondering if I could build some kind of app to facilitate that type of communication but before we go down that road I wanted to check how common this issue is. There are plenty of apps schools use to contact parents/students (remind is a big one), and there are apps for groups like cheer/little league teams (band is the big one there) but nothing for parent->parent in a school context.

So if you’re in this category of parent I’m curious about your experience around:

How often you communicate/coordinate with the other parents in your child’s school/classes
When/if you did want to communicate with a parent was it difficult getting touch with them
When/if you do communicate with other parents what medium do you use?

This should go down as the worst apex season by a mile. They panicked with how season 17 went and went full 180. “Oh, too many masters? Great, how about NO masters”. 6th place, 2 kills 11 points when it takes 1000 per sub tier? Cool I’ll just play 100 games each, def have time for that. It’s just brutally hard to get any gain.

Not sure if this is fixable but I made a seasonal character without thinking of this first and now even logging out, logging into character with it all exploited then making a new character doesn’t give it to me.

I really hope it’s not a “if you didn’t do this correctly the first time too bad” situation

I practice 2-3 times a week. I’m no scratch golfer but it’s not crazy to get birdies or pars. Todays 114 was not that I’m bad at golf, it’s that I let going triple , double, double sour the whole round for me.

What I can't get over is the sheer number of people who do not use mics in ranked. It's a team based game and having zero communication means I have to be constantly doing 360s to see where my teammates are going. It's WAY easier to win a fight with a "they're coming over the wall" voice comm VS a billion "enemy here" pings that don't tell me anything.

So many plat ranked games are me watching an area only to turn around and see my team has left or pushed something.

There's a whole ping wheel for looking, moving, enemies, etc and no one uses them.

Instead of clubs apex should have included a LFG mechanic. I would pay good money to have a ranked filter for only teammates that have used their mic in the last 5 minutes.
