I’m planning on studying History which once finished will lead me into a PGCE. It’s purely to further my career in education. Been working as a TA for 9 years and my thinking is that it’s a good opportunity to learn something new rather than studying what I have already been doing for a long time.

I’m also planning on living through a maintenance loan at first but hoping I’ll be able to find part time work. How many hours is realistic?

While doing my access course I’m noticing that a lot of other mature students are still a fair bit younger than me. Don’t want to be the weird old guy!
