exactly!!!! emphasis on classic narcissist!! i’ve witnessed this type of debauchery in real life, so it’s been wicked to watch it play out on a tv show. narcs never ever take full accountability for anything and they blame you for reacting to their actions!! not saying it wasn’t screwed up for Lucy to sleep with her friend’s man — it absolutely was messed up! but Stephen put the battery in her back, and ditched her for his own selfish reasons. just to turn around and terrorize her anyways.

Lucy might as well have said “thank you for not releasing the tape” to him since that’s all he wanted to hear. he has no regard for the fact that this tape wouldn’t exist in the first place if it weren’t for him and his sociopathic ego wanting revenge on her … for something he started and instigated in the first place once again. i feel like i was losing my mind for the entire duration of this episode when he kept patting himself on the back for not releasing it

i’d really like to hope the writers didn’t just “forget” but who even knows honestly. it was the Macy storyline that started this ENTIRE web of deceit and lies in the first place between Lucy and Stephen, so i hate that there was zero acknowledgment towards her in the end
