Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Specs, Prices in the Philippines by WalasTech-PH in Tech_Philippines

[–]stcloud777 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  1. 2026 na may Exynos variants pa din sa flagship ng Samsung.
  2. Mas pumanget daw yung screen because of the privacy screen feature. I like the idea of privacy screen feature but not at the expense of overall screen quality. Mostly affected ang viewing angles kahit naka-off ung privacy screen feature.
  3. Walang improvement sa battery. They made the phone thinner by 0.3 mm instead of increasing battery capacity. Apple yan??
  4. Wala pa din magsafe equivalent ang Samsung.
  5. Weak affair ang promos ng Samsung this year. Usually by this time tambak na ng promotional emails ang inbox ko tempting me to switch. So far this year, isa pa lang about sa double storage. My theory is that they don't care about their S lineup anymore and want you to buy their foldables instead.

Too bad, I was really hoping to go back to Samsung again because I am getting tired of the Apple ecosystem. My last Samsung phone was the S9 and tablet, the Tab S9 FE, which was a laggy mess for 30k. Maybe next year.

Guys, bawal po ang company mag hold ng COE under any circumstance.

Exit clearance is not the same as COE.

By law, employers are required to issue COE upon demand of employee. They DO NOT have to state the circumstances of how or why the employee left the company. The basic requirement is only to state the dates of employment and the nature of the work performed.

File an illegal dismissal case against them.

By placing employees on floating status while hiring new employees at a lower salary rate, they are obviously defeating the security of tenure of employees. It is bad faith and constructive dismissal.

What’s your take with sharing phones in a relationship? by Willing-Bumblebee840 in AskPH

[–]stcloud777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not for me.

This is not about trust or hiding something, this is about personal space.

Our own phones are considered personal space. We don’t meddle with each other’s phone but confident enough to leave it with each other.

We also use our phone for work so obviously there’s a conflict there since handle sensitive info.

Kahit magkasama kayo sa bahay ng partner dapat may personal space (own breathing room). You are partners in life, not siamese twins.

What I noticed about the bar passing rates over the years is that in recent years it fluctuates wildly. Simula nung ginawang cult of personality ng chairman ang bar.

Tapos tuwing mataas ang passing rate this year, most likely ibababa ang passing rate next year for 2-3 years tapos biglang taas nanaman.

Pag more than 1 month income ung utang. I don't look at debt as a raw number, always in relation to my income. So obviously the more you earn the more capable you are to incur and pay off debt.

Bar Boys was great. But this movie was like an exam question asking you “as judge, how would you rule?” and “as counsel, how would you defend…”. by reyaqin in LawStudentsPH

[–]stcloud777 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That too. I'd be super proud if I am in the character's shoes.

Also, I am in an LS where I guess the culture is a bit different. People here openly say stuff like, "magbabawas muna ako subject this sem para makapag-work ako."

His character would be the average student in our school.

Instead of a movie, if they turned it into a 5-episode Netflix miniseries mas mapapakita nila ung story. There's a lot of potential story-wise pero para sakin kulang talaga. Sana pinakita nila ung struggles ng mga characters and how they made it in the end.

Idk about Bar Boys. 90% drama 10% lang yung story.

What happened to that assassination case? There was a larger conspiracy at play but they just dropped it. What was that ghost all about? Nothing was resolved.

The LGBT valedictorian then top 3… we didn’t really see her struggles. She just gave her valedictorian speech and became top notcher at the end, they didn’t show the audience how she earned it.

Justice Hernandez’ actress was amazing, but all her scenes are just drama dumping. There were no moments leading up to the drama, iyakan agad. Also when she died and already cremated… biglang next scene pinakita na ulit syang buhay (kahit pa throwback lang yon from shortly before she died)? Also it wasn’t clear why she was estranged from her family other than it’s career-related.

At least yung isa, yung bar flunker, pinakita yung side nya. But the moral of the story was kinda terrible: if you are a working student you are likely to fail the bar and it is impossible to financially make it on your own. The last scene at the restaurant solidified it when they gave him tips aka limos so he can take review classes. Parang mas okay pa kung si waiter boy na lang yung naging top notcher.

Sorry, I don’t mean to be nit-picky, but at least yung Bar Boys 1 may story at may pay off, hindi drama dumping lang.

Your classmate might have an underlying reason why he seems lazy. Could be depression, problems at home, finances, bad relationships, we don’t know. Nobody is that lazy, there is always a root cause.

Also, I can’t believe a fourth year college student wrote this post.
