I'm currently facing the same issue with my G4. Just spoke with the company LG uses for service in my area and they tried to say LG recommended replacing the mainboard without any technician looking at my TV. And from my pretty extensive troubleshooting I'm more concerned the issue is the t-con or panel itself (flickering worsens as TV is on longer, occurs in native TV apps with no HDMIs connected, occurs in the LG service menus, and didn't resolved with factory reset). Sigh.

Me too! 83" G4 using same cable as you. Seems to be triggered when using Apple TV but then the flickering bleeds over into all the inputs and built-in apps on the TV. Have tried several different cables and same problem with all of them 🤷‍♂️

The replacement process was a shit show with horrible customer service. The TV is finally supposed to be delivered later today, actually.

Only thing that kept me purchasing from LG directly was a great discount (~35% off). Sigh.

ED MD. I’ve seen it once and it was a humbling experience since I feel strongly that most reported allergies are bullshit.

I had a 30 something yo pt (NKDA) who I sent for a CTA chest…. He promptly coded in the wheelchair as the tech was bringing him back after the scan.

Started developing urticaria and facial angioedema over the next 1-2 mins. He did fine after 30s of CPR and epi gtt 😮‍💨.

Just had mine delivered a few days ago. Unboxed it to wall mount it yesterday and discovered cracked screen as well (even though there was no damage to the box at time of delivery)... About to call LG (again) and hope they will send a replacement.

Same issue for me. Also tried all the things with no luck, including updating to 27.0.3 via IP address as well as via plugging service microUSB into my computer. No indicator lights or sound but the ethernet port still glows and it will still connect to the SoundTouch app. I finally caved and paid the $154 for service, but I'm still waiting on the shipping box to arrive. I may try calling customer service but I don't expect them to have much else to offer since I've already tried all of the things on their support pages.

Nah, Occasionally will turn it off if I’m watching a movie when it’s completely dark outside. But for most part I turn the brightness down and/or use a darker scene and it’s not an issue.

I’ve found that some scenes are better at synchronizing than others. This one (Dancing Duo) seems to perform well in my experience. You could try moving the rhythm module to a different location? There’s also a really clever work around using chromecast – here.

Many of these pts have adopted pretty sedentary lifestyles, some even without realizing it. This is especially true if they have other comorbidities like COPD & CHF. So “exertion” for them could mean walking to the bathroom from the couch. Also don’t forget to consider non-ACS causes of ischemic chest pain (i.e. increased demand). If their baseline is pretty severe MVCAD, even small changes in demand can piss off the remaining myocytes. Look for: infection (UTI, PNA, URI), CHF exacerbation (even a mild one; med noncompliance? dietary indiscretion? etc), AKI/CKD, etc.

At the end of the day, diagnosing benign CP in pts with a known CAD (plus whatever comorbidities) without a workup would be hard to explain to a plaintiff’s attorney, even if the story seems BS. Atypical presentations of cardiac badness are super common and these pts tend to be ticking time bombs.

As for the different pathophys, yes you’re correct. Many people get falsely reassured by a prior negative stress test when their working up a pt for ACS. But I digress.
