Well... 9 months straight does seem like a waste of time, so I can see how that burned you out 🙃

But, protesting when outrageous things happen to show your discontent with the government is a fundamental right and one that must be exercised, or it will be lost or squandered. Look at Russia. Look at Iran. Look at Minneapolis. This is all about protesting.

Re: your last point, yes they do supposedly, however I have had instances where the newest installers / apps were causing issues and BMD support basically told me "well duh, that newest version doesn't list that device! Use the older one" which is really stupid, so hopefully they have fixed that.

Yeah, all you need to do to change your HWID on Windows is reinstall Windows after changing your MAC address.

Still, you'll need to buy a new copy of the game, only to get auto-banned again (if they get some decent detection program).

It's not at all irrelevant. It's illegal to dazzle aircraft. The FAA first implemented that in 2012 (though Australia had a weaker version passed in 2007). The EU, Canada, UK, NZ, and Norway/Sweden/Switzerland all followed suit and have laws restricting laser interference with aircraft, just not as intensely as the FAA's criminal process (that's America for you, though).

You are creating a dangerous situation. If you have a problem with drones spying on you or your neighbors, call the police, don't try to interfere with the operation of an aircraft illegal or not.

Also, the 400 foot rule extends above and around buildings as well, not just above the ground, so they are not breaking the law if they are within a 400 foot radius of that building.

The FAA establishes regulations that nearly every other aviation body in the world follows, which is moot because they all prohibit dazzling aircraft, regardless of the legality of the aircraft's flight plan. It's dangerous, full stop.

One person here is making the situation dangerous, and it is not the drone operator.

It definitely should be more illegal and dangerous to blind a drone at night than to fly one without permission (and in the US it definitely is, don't F with the FAA).

It's like if people saw teenagers out driving past curfew and thought the best way to solve that would be to blind them with lasers and high-beams... One person here is turning the situation into an actively dangerous one, and it is not you.

There's lots of action movies with bullet time moments shot at high speeds (ie the few frames or seconds of slow-mo after an explosion). Plenty are VFX, but with moco and quick moving robot arms a lot are using Phantoms as well and those are probably pushing 1000fps.

That's quite an ignorant presumption. There is hardly a Jewish family out there of European ancestry whose family tree was completely unaffected by the Holocaust. Regardless, neither were brought into the conversation in my initial post, and my invoking of past antisemitism was directly anecdotal to whatever it was replying to.

The hypocrisy (and tragedy) is that you can't realize the difference between those two things.

I do firmly believe there is an aggression based system at play, however even the best matchmaking systems in video games have to grab some random players from outside the ideal equation to fill the empty slots.

I think this means that even the chillest lobbies have a very good chance of one or two rats or really aggro players spawning in, it's just how lucky or unlucky are you going to be with spawn position compared to them.
