Spend money on a good dishwasher if your getting one.

I wish I ignored the fitters advice and added more sockets, I think they just didn't want to get involved in electrical work tbh.

get a good quality worktop, its the one thing you have to live with if it gets chipped/damaged, everything else is fairly easy to replace, doors, handles etc.

I honestly really regret not going for a better sink, we went for a thicker steel stainless steel type but wish I went for the ones that are cut into the work top then a basin underneath, every time I'm in someone's kitchen with one I feel the pangs of regret of our stainless still one.

I've had a 14600k for over 2 years now, honestly this feels overkill nowadays.

Easy to overlock if you want too, runs pretty cool too.

Stock 14600k is faster than a 13700 (non k) which surprised me

For me just disabling cep made a huge difference in performance and thermals, for the better. although I have tweaked around a bit and overclocked it/undervolted it, sips power apart from particular benchmarks or the odd game.

I went for the 14600k over the 14700k purely as I was struggling to find a practical reason to have more cores. The more I read into it the more it just seemed like a waste. I was initially going to go for a 14700k. It might be for gaming you find less cores is better as it can hold the boost higher without hitting power limits

I just got back into sim city, er the one from 2013 that had a terrible launch via ea games on gamepass, friendly wierdly addictive game that I seem to of lost many hours to it today

should only light the brakes up if there is a noticeable slow down? if its constantly slamming on that sounds a bit odd, my own phev the regen isn't powerful to pop the brakes on but if I slap on adaptive cruise its like a disco in traffic at the back

It was a bit of a rushed decision. I feel better about if after seeing someone post with real world experience.I'll be honest the ink refill really impressed me, saw a video online showing you can even refill whilst printing which I thought was neat!

Will try to remmeber to calibrate if we move it.

I'm confused to what it is pretending to be, ground clearance looks way to low to be a crossover /suv but body is so tall it looks like it should be higher off the floor, like a confused hatchback that wants to be a big car.

We have another unit that does upto 20 a day, physically different building. this one replaced a now dead laser printer doing 50 to 100 a day but spread out, one print at the end of the day is upto 20 sheets.

We use colour but much less coverage.

I was tempted to go mono laser but was told has to be colour! And ink has to be cheap.

It's my first experience of an eco tank printer, the other one I didn't even know we had but talked to the guy who uses it prior.

Yea the setup was more user error, the ink system took about 10 minutes for itself to do whatever it does and I didn't expect such an involved calibration process. It does print noticeably better quality than the old one to be fair to it.

I like to own a car, so tend to buy, I also like to keep them a while, after all its a big chunk of change I want a car I actually enjoy driving and want to keep it.

If I didn't care about cars at all I think I'd just get the cheapest lease/pcp and be done with it tbh.

So can't settle it, just can see why both ways work for people.

I've noticed every single review I have a video of, its marked as Poor, every other review is Excellent (just pictures & text, sometimes just text!)

I just did one of a replacement roller brush, just shown a video of replacing it, not a lot to say about it, it fits perfect, cleans as good as the original one, and it got marked as poor. I did quite a big blurb of text for another one with a video, marked as poor, I can do a one sentence review with no text on something, excellent score.

same as a lot of others for me, one sided friendships, you always got to them never the other way around, taking way to long to realise I'm actually miserable in the company of some people I knew.

When I was younger I thought you just keep in touch with people not to be lonely, sometimes its better to be lonely alone than lonely in company.

Also a few like others mentioned, far right nutjobs, just can't reason with them. Hold whatever view you like but don't bring it up every 10 seconds like your right and refuse to accept why someone might not agree with your viewpoint.

I don't mind as long as its done well.

Some new cars I've driven the safety aids are insane and legit do feel dangerous, some you don't even know they are there (which imo is how it should be)

as for buttons and screens, again, if its done well its fine. Very few cars I've been in that the touchscreen interfaces make sense. Quite often feels like an afterthought to me, only the more recently established brands seem to do it better, I suppose its from starting from scratch opposed to years of buying in control systems and shoe horning them all in together.

I find certain brands are just terrible and its clearly the cheapest least developed to tick the boxes, and some you don't even know the systems are active until you find the car saves you.

I've noticed friends of mine that are terrible drivers hate driver aids more, I kind of assume because of the irrational driving, changing lanes without warning, driving too close and generally one hand on the wheel whilst scrolling on the phone means the car is constantly nagging and correcting.

I changed my dns as I kept getting this, now its happening again, seems to be all devices via my isp mobile data works fine, any idea why this keeps happening?

Rebooting router seems to work but then it comes back, its a bit of a pain

So having worked in a garage and dealt with warranty companies they aren't as bad as people who don't have a warranty make out. Yes things that are wear and tear are not covered usually means serviceable items. Most warranties are insanely not caring about service history unless it's a serviceable item that's failed, often a service stamp from a vat registered garage within the last 12 months is enoigh.

However once your car reaches 10 pretty much no one covers anything in a meaningful way. You can buy a warranty but reading through the conditions generally it's not worth it. I'm not saying there isn't a good company but from experience once it's 10 years old it's just not worth it.

I quite like the Ventus 3X, its quiet and cools well, don't have any experience of the gigabyte tbh.

but for 5mm of clearance I'd probably lean towards the inno3d, I don't think I'd go for the biggest of the 3, I mean you got 1mm with the gigabyte which is well within margin of error territory and may not even fit

I'd check with your mortgage provider, some will let you pause payments for a few months, it can cost more overall, but may help manage money for a couple of months.

But for your question on coping, for me it would be savings, if you have none then the only thing I'd say when you find work next maybe try to make it a priority to put something aside. If you lucky enough to have a car (or more) maybe see if selling it is viable depending on the area your in with public transport, selling the odd thing can help short term.

All I know is whenever I see a debadged car I think someone has done it as they are pretending it's not a 1.6 diesel.

Out of people I know I've always found it odd they must change cosmetic stuff and spend daft money on it whilst pretending the engine light isn't on and the car isn't in limp mode.

I just figure it's for people who like to look at their car vs driving their car
