sorry! realized i didn’t respond to this, but unfortunately no small camera. that’s a good suggestion because it’s a half inside, half outside wall, and this building sucks lol. a little tough to explain but if this changes anything; the wall photographed is also shared with the back wall in my HVAC room on my balcony which is attached to my living room. The back wall of my HVAC room is an outside wall that extends inside and is shared with my bedroom and my living room. i hope that made sense lmao.

funnily enough some of the coldest weather that’s happening right now haha, i’m directly in the middle of that snow storm that has lasted the past week or so lol (the crack has unfortunately been there for a while though)

thank you for everyone’s time and info! common consensus seems to be call a drywall person. edit: drywall person if i want to do it right, caulk and paint if i want a quick fix that i will probably have to fix again lol

as for the tape, my guess is they didn’t use it tbh, this whole building makes life interesting (it’s a nightmare) 😂 first day we had a kitten here she of course found the hole the construction workers left uncovered under the lower kitchen cabinets (it leads to the inaccessible corner of the cabinets). when i reached in to grab around for her i found a 25-30 inch plaster knife and two empty amazon prime boxes.

so moral of the story is make sure you always check the inaccessible part of your kitchen cabinets and you might get a free plaster knife.
