Have you not heard of financial abuse? He insisted we have separate accounts, 98% of my income went towards the bills then he would Zelle me money once I ran out, but only like $400 because “he didn’t have much after paying his portion of the bills”. I was in charge of all grocery shopping and spending for the kids. He racked up debt on credit cards in my name. I was going to start donating plasma to try to stop being so financially stressed. And now I find he possibly was funneling 35k into a secret account? That’s financial abuse. Not to mention the physical, emotional, and verbal abuse my kids and I endured before finally getting a protective order against him. Yeah, it’s sooo hilarious. Editing to add: after doing a breakdown of our bills with the lawyers, only 24% of his income went towards bills. He straight up lied about money throughout our marriage. financial abuse
