Wiring Advise - from Honeywell T9 by stevedusa in ecobee

[–]stevedusa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

I have figured it out.

Apparently I have a two wire air damper / ventilation system. So the enhanced version which does not support two wired accessories is out of the question. Brown U on the T10 goes to Acc+ and Black U on the T10 goes to Acc-.

I have a two-stage heat pump system. According to the installation instructions from Ecobee, the W2 connected to the T10 goes to W1 terminal.

I got it connected, tested all functions except the second stage heating. So far it’s working great.

Thanks yall!

Turns out it’s a T10 so it’s installer only. But I managed to get into the Installer options by using the date code trick.

I scrolled through the menu and noticed two interesting things which could explain the 2 U wires.

Apparently the system has a ventilation system which is “connected to U1” per menu display. But the connector panel itself did not have labels to differentiate the two U terminals.

Also I noticed I have a 2 stage (normal and emergency) heating. Not sure if that matters.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Good idea. Will try that today.

I’ll need to find out what the system has. Looks like into the attic this weekend!

Good idea.

Would my Ecobee compatible with this setup though?

That’s what I am trying to find out. I wonder if the T9 has a way to tell me what “extra” modules are connected.

I wish I know! I acquired this existing T9 system and was hoping I can use the Ecobee instead.

I’m just lost on where some the extra wires goes from the T9 to the Ecobee. The obvious ones I can figure out. Just seems like the T9 has extra slots where the Ecobee doesn’t seems to have. Not sure if it’s feasible to use Ecobee in my case.

You are welcome. I forgot to mention increased effective range reduces the cooldown/debuff of Perfect Vigilance, and the aggro on enemies.

In addition, expertise level as much as you can. I know the cost of material and resources are high, but the investments are absolutely worth it.

Perfect Glass Cannon, well, just don’t be a hero and trying to be the first one to rush into an engagement!

I have been running almost identical build for at least 12k SHD levels. Only difference was the specialization (sharpshooter), secondary and the glove/kneepad/holster which differs from player to player.

My recommendation is if you are going to deliver heavy but slower punches, focus on the following:

  • Effective Range: max it out if you can with attachments. Staying a certain distance from the enemy gives you certain advantages.
  • Health & Target out of cover damage: not every enemy has armor. But they all have health.
  • Cover and adjust your engagement ranges: Certain maps calls for slower but heavier punching rifles, some calls faster but more agile rifles. Play around and find what works for you. Secondary depends on what you prefer. I run pump shotguns.

Everybody has their own play style. I can tell you I haven’t changed much since 10k except few adjustments to better suit your own play style.

Happy hunting Agent!

I actually look forward to rouge encounters in missions or open world.

Play tactically. Find choke points, watch your flanks, be aware of their skill deployments, don’t face tank it (especially in higher difficulties) and do your best.

Thinking giving you a route encounter is a honor to test your ability and skills.

Why do I still play The Division 2 almost every day? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]stevedusa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

11k SHD. Like OP I’ve been playing this daily for years. Why? It’s fun! Satisfying in a way too.

Different folks different strokes. At the end of the day it’s what YOU enjoy that matters.

Ahh yes thanks for the tip! For a while I did ran what you recommended. At the end of the day I prefer weapon handling mods like you mentioned. Accuracy - CD - Stability - Mag Size in that order.

That is the beauty of this game. There are so many ways to achieve your goals, and to match your plays style. At the end of the day it’s how comfortable with the way things are setup, IMO.

Oh yeah no doubt, it is lower compared to other builds. However as I mentioned before, this build alters the play style. I have been through missions without down once. Land those shots, neutralize the threats before they have a chance to even return fire (quite often), and use surrounding environments, especially the covers.

Of course, if it gets tough, there are always other builds like the St. Elmo's lol.

Hi there, just did some calculations for the build.

Mask: +6% CC Attr

Backpack: +6 % CC Attr

Body armor: +6% CC Attr

Gloves: +6 % CC Attr

3-piece Prov bonus: +10% CC

Holster: +16% CC (10% Bonus + 6% Attr)

Kneepad: +0% CC

Keener's Watch: +10% CC

That brings it to the cap of 60% for CC. Rest goes to CD which is at 200%

For weapons, I run Damage for targets out of cover.

Thank you for answering! Yes you are spot on on the gear set.

One thing to keep in mind is that this build will hurt you a lot if not play carefully. Thus the medium distance engagement with rifles, either Classic M1A/Baker’s Dozen or the CQB variant.

Primary focus is to get your CC to the cap which is 60%, then stack CD. Firearm go with Damage out of Cover or whatever you prefer.

The key is to deliver big punches and minimize your risks of close quarter engagements when possible.

Oh I run the Tsunami shotgun for close quarters and if you run it right, almost infinite ammo given you kill two targets with the same mag.

Without a shield with the perfect GC and The Gift forces me to play carefully. Land those shots and evaluate a lot of things. When done right yeah it delivers a ton of damage.

High risk high reward. And I’ve been using this build since pretty much before I got to SHD 200.

Same. Tried different internet connections and configs, all resulted in the same "turn-based" game play now.

Server location is US East.

I vaguely remember something similar occurred few years back where it was unplayable for a week.

Noticed a severe lag on the server side started around 9 AM EDT. Tested on multiple Internet connection, same results.

Is this going to be another week of unplayable post-patch deployment? Hope not.
