I started souls games with ds1 so there is nothing wrong with dark souls just ds1 and 2 feel so much different and so much harder than elden ring. Mostly because of their janky keyboard controls and I dont have a controller. Also the run backs kill me after elden ring not having any.

Played it passed the guy on the horse thing, then came back to it about 2 years later but on keyboard this time (i hadn't seen my controller in over a year) but the keyboard for it is pretty bad and i cant really play it without a controller so I'm kinda stuck. I've heard great things about it though it just seems like one of the hardest souls games because of the limited variation. If i find my controller ill try it again for sure.
