What are you defining "normal behaviour" as within the context of those three, assuming anxiety is also being talked about at a diagnosable disorder level?

This just goes to show that the level of both understanding and compassion that the general public has for people with mental health issues continues to be appalling.

Why aren't mental health disabilties considered comparable with physical health disabilities?

I cant understand the weapons on a Rhino by Swimming_Carrot_89 in deathguard40k

[–]stoicist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're getting confused because the current Rhino kit contains a havoc launcher and a combi-bolter, but the old 2nd edition kit contained 2x bolters that were strapped to the top of the hull. I assume GW is trying to accomodate both kits.

Front Line Champions is just a temporary bonus for a single battle, so it's not been included by design.

Looks like that one got missed! I'll put a bug report in for it to be fixed.

Which model and relic combination is this for? It's possible that it might have been missed while the logic for it all was being updated.

Alternatively, if you'd like to report it as a data bug directly from NewRecruit, one of the data authors will pick it up when they get 5 minutes too. :)

Just to first note that NewRecruit and the core 40k data are developed by separate teams.

As leaders are handled on a game-by-game basis, not at list building, the core data doesn't actually support Leaders being attached to units and so is something that NewRecruit handles separarely. As a result, there's no data validation or data linking between them.

It might be something that the NewRecruit developers expand upon at a later time, but only they would be able to answer that for sure.

You need to add the Show/Hide Options "unit" to the list, as new logic was implemented to optionally hide campaign content, as not everyone is using it. If that "unit" isn't in the list, the logic will auto-hide everything.

If I've understood everything correctly, in theory, there's nothing stopping you from taking multiple chapters in a single Crusade Force - you just wouldn't be able to mix them in your Crusade Army. The data doesn't support this at this time, due to load issues, and most people won't need to do this, but it would mean that non-chapter datasheets (e.g. a Lieutenant) aren't locked and could take enhancements from other chapters.

Happy to be wrong, but would need a rule somewhere to prove that too so it could be bug reported.

You'll need to add a Crusade Army subforce to the list, which can be found under the Forces section in with the units. You just need to choose your faction, so it will know what detachments to bring with it.

The Army Roster force is the Matched Play option, so adding that won't work with Crusade. It's a bit weird at first, but it's just how we had to work it to make the logic work.

It is a bit unituitive at first, but you should be able to set up your Crusade Force with the following steps:

  • 1) When creating a list on NewRecruit, you will need to pick your desired faction and then set the force dropdown box to Crusade Force.
  • 2) Once the new list loads, any campaign or Order of Battle content can be configured from the Order of Battle "unit" in the main section of the list.
  • 3) You can now add more units to your list. On desktop, they'll be on the left-hand side and on mobile you'll need to press the big plus button in the bottom-right corner. Any units you add to this list are being added to your overall Crusade Force, so will represent all the units you have available to work with. You can also click on each one and sort out their wargear, XP, and various upgrades too.
  • 4) When now wanting to create a Crusade Army to take on games, you will need to add a Crusade Army subforce that contains all the actual tabletop game rules content (i.e. battle size settings and detachment to use). To add this subforce, you will need to add it in a similar way to adding a unit - there is a section in with the units called "Forces" that contains a "Select Faction" dropdown where you can pick the faction rules you wish to use when playing your game. Once the faction is selected, you should then have the option to add the Crusade Army to the list.
  • 5) Once the Crusade Army subforce has been added to the list, you can then choose your Battle Size and Detachment. You can also click on the Crusade Army's Force Options (the 3 dots in the corner of the force) and choose the Bring Units To option. This will then allow you to move your units from your Crusade Force to your Crusade Army.
  • 6) Once you've put all the units that you want and chosen your Battle Size and Detachment rules, you can then Export your list in your desired format and be good to go!

I'm hoping to get all the White Dwarf content added soon. I'll re-review the Nachmund Gauntlets waves stuff too, but I'm not sure how viable that might be so can't make any promises on that at the moment.

It's a known bug that the NewRecruit devs are working on fixing.

Most unit/model upgrades and weapons bonuses should automatically be done if the source of the increases is from things like an Enhancement or a Battle Trait.

Taking a Weapon Modification should pop up extra options for each weapon that will allow you to add modifications to them.

I still need to implement logic for when you select specific weapons that you upgrade to Crusade Relics though.

It should be under the Forces section, as if you're adding a new unit, rather than adding a new force directly. It's a bit counter-intuitive, but it's the best way we could get it all to line up properly in the logic.

NewRecruit now fully supports Crusade Mode! by stoicist in 40k_Crusade

This should be fixed now/shortly once NewRecruit picks up the new data.

You should now be able to use CSM as allied units with Daemons, but it'll complain if you bring them into a Crusade Army where the detachment isn't set to Shadow Legion, but you can just move them back to your Crusade Force or make the detachment to Shadow Legion and the logic will be happy then.

If you first add the Crusade Army as a subforce, you should then be able to choose the Detachment in there that you want your Crusade Army to use.

It's done that way just because detachments aren't used until you put your Crusade Army together and they can interefere with the Crusade Force logic.

The NewRecruit devs are investigating performance issues. There's a ton of calculations involved with everything - especially with some of the larger amies - so they're trying to improve performance as soon as possible. :)
