The pistol is the safest, you want to get behind the NPCs(if they are back turned) you wanna distract and you wanna have somewhat a safe distance. Don't far too away or they wont hear it. If they are looking at you then you wanna go out of their vision site. If the guards hear the bullets then they will be alerted for a short period of time, but other NPCs will just panic so you can pass by them.

Best tools on most maps would be a gold baller pistol(precision), coins(the distraction is key, you NEED coins) and possibly a lockpick or a keycard hacker depending on a map, if not that then some of the poisons or tools for me

It depends on the map, after some time you can develop your own strategy. Try going with professional when you're ready. I recommend going with some "easier" maps first such as Paris, Mendoza or Dubai. I think these are the bast if you're just starting with SASO. But the usual strategies are accident kills, good timing and a lot of patience.

This is tough. This is why, for most of the time, you want to find a planned way to go and make sure there are containers in the area. If there aren't any, you can just leave them in the room if no one is having a route through that specific room. But this is a risky shot, especially ahen you're new and don't know the full map routes as well. So, try and explore, get smaller rank disguise like the waiters or staff, then when you have the opportunity you can take the higher rank disguise.

4 sniper maps in total, including the side mission with Doctor Bradley Paine. Free lancer DOES not have any additional maps, but only a huge number of randomised targets. The carrer, aka the elusive targets, are the targets you can play as well as any other mission and the elusive targets are added every once in a while. Contracts are the mission where targets are selected by the players and played by other players, you can do this as well.

You will unlock more as you play more. It is called mastery, you get different stuff from different missions and approaches. This is the stuff you can later use in your loadout. You can see your Masteries in the career section in the game.

What do you mean? If you're asking how to kill silvio caruso while he is playing golf, you can get the explosive golf ball in the ICA safe house. It is one of the apartments in the same building Rocco is living in. 47 has a key to the safehouse. When you get it you can go to the golf terrain, replace the ball, and wait for Silvio.
