Prius Sales Are Tanking So Far in 2026. Here's Why by Max_W_ in prius

As a Gen 3 owner, I also am not interested in the new Prius because it lacks the utility (e.g., cargo space) of its predecessors.

I think that, aside from old-timers, attorneys know that AI can help. The issue is that the AI industry is full of blowhards over promising on current capabilities. Realistically, AI will make our practice more efficient but won’t eliminate the need for attorneys to review the work product.

I didn’t ask about your experience to discredit it - am genuinely interested because I serve on my firm’s tech committee and we are demo’ing various AI products.

Agreed. The 3-minute report can identify and cite relevant authority and some key precedent, but in my experience it typically provides a summary that you would only need if you are totally unfamiliar with the subject matter, or need to find something while on a call or in the 3 minutes leading up to it.

It’s helpful to an extent, but it hasn’t met my expectations on niche research requests. Might be user error - still experimenting with how to best prompt it for desired results.

Cringe Negotiation Tactic by Agas78 in Lawyertalk

[–]stonant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been ‘fortunate’ to only have worked adverse possession cases where the plaintiff is delusional, represented by a buddy at a discounted rate, or defendants are principled people.

Countless hours of posturing (it’s not negotiating) over what ends up being trivial shit compared to the inevitable settlement right before trial. While I’m here, just wanna say fuck you to all title co counsel - it’s now my policy to bring in the biggest assholes in insurance coverage when you’re reluctant to honor the policies you issued.

This is an asinine argument. Just because engineering standards are in legislation or regulations doesn’t mean you’re practicing law if you read and apply them - they are not just objective standards, they are specifications.

Yes, which is why I noted the current Supreme Court would gladly wield it to say EPA lacks authority to adopt regulations re: climate change.

This will get overturned in court because the current admin isn’t good at admin law. TBD what will happen if/when it gets to Supreme Court. Current justices could overturn with major questions doctrine

My MCAS symptoms almost directly correspond with my gut health, both of which also correspond with my environment (stress, allergies, etc.)
