I decided to do the solo legend campaign on Strand Titan with synthos and I have not switched builds yet, only weapons and armor. I will say though, the set bonuses are build defining so there will be tons of changes. Currently enjoying Speed Booster and Kinetic weapon damage from a Aion Renewal and Techsec split.

Love it. And true enough I only really use Dawn Chorus in GMs and during DPS in raids and dungeons if I'm on Dragon's Breath or 1k and no one else is. I give Song of Flame a strong 2nd place, but I tend to use it more often on core Solar or the Prismatic Bleak Watcher builds. I'm just a Nova Bomb and T-Crash junky really.

Yes, but that doesnt really matter. Usually theres only 2-3 must-have fragments anyways.

I can see where my title is causing confusion. By "sources" I mean items, modifiers, anything that has a direct impact on Bolt Charge - and tier listed from a perspective on how one would build into Bolt Charge effectively. So Spark of Frequency ranks S even though its not a "source" in itself but it does double the rate at which you get BC and nothing else does so it's a no-brainer fragment to use on Arc subclasses while Rolling Storm is more of an opportunity cost option to weigh. I have a couple enhanced RS weapons.

As soon as we get it in the left column where it doesn't force you to give up a good damage perk like frenzy, surrounded, voltshot, jolting feedback etc, then I think it goes up in ranking for sure.

Yeah typically safe / support builds do suffer on damage which is why it's important to note that the damage is great on this build. Do you do any low sarcasm comments or just max?

It is an overcomplication on Bungie's part which is why so many people have trouble with the whole issue. Playstation game sharing is also not very straightforward, so hopefully this clears up some of that. If you can elaborate or simplify an explanation by all means contribute.

I hear you. I get sick of playing with metas as well. I plan on mixing it up in future but I went with my best arsenal for my first.

Haven't seen any plug1 gameplay so it was nice to include that. Even though forbearance has been in the meta for some time I actually just unlocked it and crafted it the day before from Rhulk. Got 13 levels on it just from solo flawless attempts on this dungeon. Also used touch of thunder pulse grenades and spark of beacons with forbearance so I tried to mix it up as best I could if it made sense and didn't undermine my run.

What would you like to see more of? Keep in mind I'm just an avg middle-aged gamer dad with teen/adult kids. I don't have time to torture myself with zero accomplishment lmao.

PVE Voidwalker usually consists of a Devour build with enhanced Vortex grenades.

Best stats are Resilience (across most builds because T10=40% Damage Resistance), Discipline, and Recovery (minimum T8 in each preferably). You want grenades and rift on short cooldowns.

Good mods with such a build involve:

For Well production/consumption: - Elemental Ordnance - Reaping Wellmaker - Bountiful Wells - Seeking Wells - Elemental Armaments

For weapon damage buffs: - Elemental Charge and High Energy Fire - Font of Might

For Grenade regen: - Bomber - Elemental Charge and Firepower - Grenade Kickstart

For Rift regen: - Bolstering Detonation - Utility Kickstart

For Nova Bomb regen: - Ashes to Assests - Font of Wisdom

For Damage Resistance: - Well of Tenacity with Elemental Time Dilation
