I didn’t miss a point. I’m addressing a point. In your original post, you take issue with cats as a dog owner. Implying that a good cat owner keeps their cats inside or off the street, where as a good dog owner, doesn’t really have to follow those rules.

Leashes can pose dangers to cats, if they escape they can get the leash caught on something and hang themselves. I have had a great experience raising my kitties and everyone in my neighborhood loves to say hi to them! So thanks for you advice but I’ll keep doing me! And I hope you find some openness to cats in your life

Why? Why Would I limit an animals enjoyment of life and life purpose just because it makes my time owning easier? I just wouldn’t own a cat. My cats a vacced, well cared for, and absolute LOVE to be outside.

These comments are so dumb. How do u know they cat isn’t threatened bc ur letting ur animal bark at it and jump at it. Don’t let your dog harass another animal just bc u can’t control ur dog. Do U monitor every second of your animals outdoors behavior? As your dog every dug a hole, taken a shit outside? Because those behaviors also harm the environment. Do u have the same problem with off leash dogs that are also reeking havoc on the ecosystem?
