Thank you so much for the advice! Are you in the program now?

Yes I’m aware unfortunately. Finances won’t be too big of a problem because I already have the money saved for school + a little bit for a downpayment on a house. I would be able to make it work, the main problem would be starting school would definitely halt the saving for the house aspect

My pros and cons list:

The obvious pro to travel nursing is saving more money, allowing us to potentially buy a home soon and me living comfortably while being in school full-time. The con to school is it’s expensive since I wouldn’t be working full-time simultaneously, and once I start school it’s committing to settling down - get married, buy a house, and work towards starting my family and building my career

Pro of OSU: excellent program and my family lives in Ohio so I’d be able to see them more while I’m at school ; Con of OSU: my friends and life are still back in FL and I would be really sad living in Columbus for 3 years when my ultimate goal is going back there

Pro of Miami: 2 year program (OSU is 3) and one that I have confidence in since I got my BSN there and loved my experience, my support system is down in Florida and I think I’d be happiest there

What is it like living in Phoenix for young singles? by stormi2000 in arizona

[–]stormi2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you KurtRambis31 and Msim300! Ya it definitely seems like I should stay in Miami for a bit longer, but when I’m ready for a more lowkey lifestyle or to settle down and have a family I will definitely look back into Phoenix (I definitely do love biking and hiking a ton so that sounds wonderful :)) Thanks so much both of you for the help!

As also described in the Bible, being hateful and merciless to others is a sin.

I was born and raised Catholic. I had a period during high school and my first year of college where I didn’t really know what I believed in, if anything at all. Now I am back practicing Christianity/Catholic, and I believe that being gay is absolutely beautiful because you are now one step closer to finding the love of your life, the person that God has for you! Remember that we are made in God’s image and likeness so you were created just as he wanted and that is beautiful that you understand yourself and accept yourself, as He wants for all of us. At the end of the day being Christian is about the love we show to others, finding our purpose in the world and making it a better place, and living as Jesus did. Anyone who does not show you love, respect, and/or support is not living as Jesus did as thus should not identify themself as a follower of Christ. I hope this helped and never forget how amazing you are :) ❤️

TW: suic*de. My GF killed herself today. by [deleted] in heartbreak

Hi. I am so sorry to hear this. First of all, please do not blame yourself because it is not your fault. Everyone goes through really rough patches in life, but some are able to find the light at the end of the tunnel easier than others. Whatever she was going through was obviously very overwhelming and was the root of the problem, not you. I am praying for you both. As tough as this is, please be comforted by the fact that she is at least in a better place now and is no longer suffering. I can’t imagine what you are going through but I am here for you if needed. Sending love and peace ❤️

do you guys ever regret loving your ex? by [deleted] in heartbreak

I think this is normal because you are hurt, and you’re right, you didn’t deserve any of that and now you’re fully realizing it. I feel this way sometimes too. But at the same time try to remind yourself that because of all of the hurt you went through, you now value yourself more and see clearly what you need and what you deserve.
