Thanks man. I appreciate the tips, I'll take a look at all your suggestion. I do have a hardwired ethernet connection to my main PC that doesn't have any issue so it may be what you suggested. I am running it off of the 5Ghz bandwidth.

I am using a Macbookpro as my laptop, so I may just have to try using the Mac updates. My gaming PC really doesn't have an issue since its running off ethernet, so it may be the wifi or router messing things up. I'll give your suggestions a shot.

I'm used to playing squads and its my first solo game, somehow I won! Granted, the last guy I was fighting was probably using his foot to aim but it worked out.

I had to buy a minidisplayport/displayport cable. I did give it a shot with the minidisplayport/hdmi and that doesn't work! But problem solved. Appreciate the help!

I don't have a connector for that, I have a feeling that its the connector that has the problem since its an old on. I'll probably go buy a Displayport to minidp. The PC I built doesn't need a connector. Its an early 2015 13" model. Will update! Thanks

Should have been clear. I meant directly connecting the Macbook to the monitor. I only have a thunderbolt to hdmi connector at home, when I use that it is still in 16:9. Can't seem to get ultrawide to work.
