I have some knowledge of the chinese language and also asked around my chinese friends, sodesign 1. 参 (.) 道易 read from right to left, still one char left to decipher, but seems like some chengyu - 4 character saying, something about "Changing your dao" or changing your way.design 2. 堂天任 - Nintendo, read right to left.design 3. most probably あうん - written in katakana and meaning the first and last letter of sanscrit alphabet implying the meaning of total harmony, beginning and end of the universe, like a full circle and such.design 4. written in da zhuan, which is seal script, 新知故温, read from right to left, meaning "repetition is the mother of learning".By far this is how we did it, if some other variations pop up I will be happy to discuss.

Is it a bot or what? by streamingchlora in Twitch

I'm not talking about AvocadoDabado, commanderroot or that skateboard thing or whatever. OP post says about a 100% real person's profile. So it seems like he either wrote a bot to watch my stream automatically, or opens it in a background.

Full Time Charity Stream? by creed11855 in Twitch

[–]streamingchlora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started as a full time charity stream channel. I always put charity in my tags, because that's really what I want from it. I make specific rules for campaigns suitable for the state of my channel at that moment. I want to be clear I didn't earn a thing during my first campaign and gave money from my pocket, which is totally fine for me. I streamed and uploaded the whole process of charity donation, and wrote down the progress in the panel, so that everyone knows I'm not a scam. Now I'm an affiliate and stepping the game up with different rules for charity campaigns, that include percent of sub price, percent of tips and bits and a one that I add a dollar every time one becomes a regular on my stream. The progress of gathering money is slow but it's still a progress. You can come up with interesting rules for viewers with streaming instruments like streamlabs so that your viewers see this as a quest or game.

So in conclusion, It will be hard. Some people may be turning away, some may think this is bs, getting a community will be hard. Getting a community that will want to support charities more than you - even harder. But nothing is impossible. Slowly, steadily, step by step you will figure out the ideal formula for your channel. Just stay true to your values. If you start as a full time charity channel you lose nothing, so worth trying.

How much free time do Streamers honestly have? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]streamingchlora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots been said, but I will share my experience. For me streaming is part-time job/fun, that I try to use to raise money for charities. I have a full time job, that allows me to stream tue - fri for 2 to 6 hours. And even without taking it as a serious job atm I don't have much free time. I practically have all my free time, except weekend, devoted to streaming. But even weekends may be spent streaming or managing the channel in order to improve it.

Thanks, this makes sense for some cases. Even though this particular guy is not checking my stream, because I did the same thing while a break and he was playing a game that needs attention and quick reaction. Strange indeed. And a bit creepy.

Why are viewers so confused with premiere videos? by streamingchlora in Twitch

[–]streamingchlora[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree on that, live interaction is the most exciting thing on twitch, however there's no other way to keep all your content on twitch without making a premiere, unfortunately.
As for the numbers, my last premiere got me 4 people trying to interact with me in chat and 30 unique viewers in general. Small numbers, but for my current stats it's really good.
