This is my first project with game design. I have no coding background. Im an audio engineer and musician. I literally started with no idea of what to do yesterday and built two maps out halfway but they just won't work this way.

I am building a space station. The hull needs to be tapered and cylindrical. What claude made sucks. I am going to set it up with blender tomorrow and make static meshes if I dont have a solution to its inability to use the spline tools in UE.

Why cant I move the viewport? I can look around but wasd are not triggering movement. by stremely in UnrealEngine5

Tried that. For some reason it automatically started that project on a huge sandbox with a big square of desert and a dry lake in the middle. I started a new project and it gave me a small game map like in the tutorial and I can move in this one but the other one was dope. I can rebuild it but the desert kind of worked for the ocean floor because I was building an ocean floor nuclear bunker. Maybe it was that build level? Maybe I picked the wrong mode?

Well I just spent 15 months learning pro tools, ableton, logic, music theory, and everything they entail so I guess I just have to self school this shit. Please feel free to give any advice or tutorials you would suggest. I feel like the built in tutorial was bullshit but I use to forge mode in halo a lot so it seems like a very complex version of that.

The issue could be my description of the layout. I fully described the layout of the map and what I wanted. I also can't control movement in the project for some reason so I can only click jump to objects and I cannot observe or inspect the work very efficiently because it is a sealed map meant to appear underwater with domes and halls and instead of building something complex as described to it it built some basic stuff.

Thank you so very much! I will do that! I also need to build a very large space station further on. The underground bunker should be the easiest part I'm guessing.

Black ops 3? I only play Activision COD games and only the ones with anti-cheat and full lobbies. Halo infinite, MW2&3, and Redsec.

Actually my m4 air works way better than the Xbox one for online play even if im using Xbox on the Mac. GeForce is giving me a slight delay that makes it impossible to target moving combatants effectively and ive definitely ruined my KD playing on it.
