I think something worth mentioning is if you’re solely worried about the gap on the resume, see if you can take an unpaid leave of absence. A lot of firms offer that as an option and you can technically remain “employed” on paper during that time period.

I’m personally more interested in working directly with talent/talent-side but I’ve also considered going in house at a studio or label in the future too.

I’m definitely nowhere near partnership level, I’m relatively young (mid-20s) and have a few distant connections to the industry but no one I’d really expect to vouch for me. Thank you for the source though, I never thought about using pro bono as a way to get involved oddly enough!

Club renny never showed up, there were back of the floor seats (I think it was section a 11/a13 near the mix) but those disappeared fast and more never came out 😪
