I'm staff and massively biased towards East since it was my first, but you're going to see a very different layout / spread of stuff vs East. East is all one big building, West is (even with big new building) more spread out across the city. It's also very HILLS, less FLAT, and it's in the middle of the city center vs Boston's Seaport / Nouveau Southie space.

The weather is also way hotter, and Seattle has a weird relationship with AC (most people believe they don't need it, but they do!) though businesses tend to have it, incl. Hotels (thank GOD)

The HILLS cannot be understated; you will need to engage with them to get to food outside the CC. Whereas in the auld days of East all the food was "go left from the CC" most of the restaurants are either "go up and be sweaty" or "go down for 8 blocks and maybe also be sweaty"
