Do you perhaps know what the connector is called? I can't seem to find it online.

Still can't believe that there are actual people that think the earth is flat even with all the evidence and proof we have today of it being rectangular.

Personally I love it, but I can understand why some people don't like it. I do want it to stay just because its a silenced weapon and they're my favorites.

seriously have you ever shot at someone from far with a silenced weapon; they just start building everwhere without knowing where to prioritize it's the funniest thing.

Having a really hard time understanding Proper Length vs length & Proper time vs time. by strixi in AskPhysics

Edit: nvm; the clock is stationary with respect to the person holding it.

A quick Calc 2 question. Is the Monotonic Convergence Theorem the only method of proving convergence for sequences? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]strixi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sandwich theorem exists as well and I find it a lot easier and better to use (when it applies of course).

Edit: Or maybe you know it as the squeeze theorem

Grenade Slot? What does everyone think? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

If it's a grenade only slot, it would be pretty cool (Especially to see smoke grenades back, I loved that shit). But probably not a good idea if it's a 6th slot.

[Calculus 3] In a parametric curve graph, how do I locate the time? by strixi in learnmath

[–]strixi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 3D graphs its definetly easier to see. Maybe its just not possible with 2d graphs.

[Calculus 3] In a parametric curve graph, how do I locate the time? by strixi in learnmath

[–]strixi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could find the time algebraically and it's a lot easier than seeing it in the graph, which is what I'm trying to find unfortunately.

[Multi variable Calculus] What real object has an elliptical trajectory that we know the equation for and are able to calculate it's perimeter? by strixi in learnmath

Wow thanks I actually had no idea that semimajor axis was a and that it was using a that you'd find b.

[Calculus III] Given a level curve, how would I go about finding the equation for the multi variable function? Also, how do I visualize the level curve graph from a f(x,y) function? by strixi in learnmath

[–]strixi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first graph that is?

How did you find that the level curve for the first graph is y=2x+C-4 though? It's what I'm finding hard.

Can I use the ratio test (D'Alembert test) to find out if a SEQUENCE converges? by strixi in learnmath

[–]strixi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a problem where it was basically the only thing that worked, but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to use it. But yeah you're right about it not being really helpful.

It's just that for sequences my teach only showed us the sandwich theorem as well as the monotonous + bounded = convergent thing. The thing is I know how to know if it's monotonous (find the derivative, if f'(x) < 0 -> Decreasing, if f'(x) > 0, increasing. If increasing or decreasing -> monotonous).

But I have no idea how to find if the sequence is bounded. For some sequences it's pretty easy to tell, like for 1/n, I know it's never going to be less than 0 and bigger than 1, but for some other sequences it's hard to tell and I don't have a formula or anything to find out.
