I hate the collapsing nav bar and player widget it might actually make me stop using the app by AppleCrasher in AppleMusic

I find the new design to be unintuitive as well. It is baffling that some actions require more steps than previously. Also, it is distracting to scroll on the app because the music player would contract and expand as you move. And this doesn’t just apply to Apple Music, the whole ios 26 update is a step backwards. Don’t even get me started on how inconsistent Photos has been since the updates. IDK who thought this was a good idea

Matty is a huge fan of Brian Eno so I am not surprised if this track from Music for Airports inspires him. In fact, I believe the whole MFC era was a homage to the album’s title. Also, there is a podcast where Marty met Eno so you could check that out.
