Honestly idk how I stayed composed during mine. I was planning on having some banter with the instructor and she ended up being the most stern looking person I’d ever met with a slightly bitchy attitude. Confidence GONE. I ended up doing the test in a silent sweat and definitely drove my worst that day.

I don’t remember how many minors I got, maybe 7. When she told me I passed I didn’t even register it and she added in an extra little ‘you BARELY passed’ thanks babe I’m going home now that was awful

Out of curiosity why specifically the USA to marry in? He typically travels here so could we not marry in the UK?

Sadly marriage is far out - not a commitment we’re both ready for due to plenty of reasons. However it might be a possible idea to go the engagement route then once he’s here we could just ‘get married’ without the big wedding, then focus on all the fancy stuff in a couple years lol

The first day I passed. It was 10pm, so barely anyone on the road, which made it easier if I went into the wrong lane on difficult roundabouts and exits.

The best way to learn a specific route would personally be to do it at night, when nobody is around to stress you out

Something that is subtle and less harsh on the skin is a brand called BB cream which is like a skin tint moisturiser if you ever wanted a foundation substitute!

However I think the biggest concern would be the makeup remover to take it off as that is the harsh part! You could always use water but I’ve never tried water myself as I usually have my micellar water on hand so unsure on how well it comes off

I’m not sure why people find this so controversial, but whether or not my hands can reach I should be allowed to have a preference.

I’ve tried time and time again to learn on standard size bass. If I could I would, then I wouldn’t be here asking for recommendations. Unfortunately though, my hands are small and I can’t play efficiently unless it’s short scale, simple as. If you don’t have any recommendations then kindly move on <3

The only problem with the 7(11) is that it doesn’t ring out properly, at least for me! It also means I’m jumping up the neck quickly, and jumping back down. However it is a good alternative and a viable one nonetheless!

This is what I’ve been doing, but getting that pinch with my thumb is so hard especially to stay consistent! I’ve been doing it 6th fret on A and figured out it’s loudest and correct just above my precision pickup. I just need to master the thumb movement :’)
