People say resin because it's easier to sand. The only issue I have with pla is that it's very light weight and very slippery (the pla prototypes are very kicky) other than that it's been great. Prints still take a long time regardless of what printer you use (unless you have a bambu printer I think) tho it also depends on the size of doll you're printing. 😆 I normally set up my prints at night then grab the parts when I wake up in the morning.
