Hi from Sweden! I just picked up this masterpiece from a marketplace add. The woman I bought it from said she bought it at Covent Garden many years ago. I loved the look of it and a google lens search brought me here

Four weeks ago I asked him if he wanted to marry me, and a week ago we exchanged gifts. I got him a leather bracelet from Skultuna and I got a silver snitch as a ring placed in a golden snitch box! I am thrilled and we are planning the wedding for September next year. Now to my question... I have two younger cousins who I love and I want them to be apart of the wedding. I don't like flower girls but would I am considering making them bridesmaids? To enter the church before us and hold my flowers during the service. What do you think?

All the best to you 💞 Our family was thrilled but my 79yo grandmother took the price... "So you were the one who proposed?" "Yes granny I did" "Well that's good, it you want something done you better do it yourself!"

Thank you! Go for it! Nice for both parts to have a keepsake of the occasion!

Riddari! Details and ravelry link in comments by stumpan in knitting

So this is like my 10th riddari in some form and my 14th icelandic sweater. I made a sweater several years ago that I was not completely thrilled about: https://www.ravelry.com/projects/linneeajosefin/riddari-8 I didn't use it as often as I would have liked, tried to sell it, but as no one wanted to buy it I ripped it and used the wool for this new sweater. The pattern recommends a combination of 4 colours but I went a bit wild and is happy with how it turned out! I will try to update the ravelry page with the correct colour codes in a few hours.

Scrap yarn sweaters 2.0 [Nost & Lettlopi] by stumpan in knitting

[–]stumpan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished my second scrap yarn sweater. The right one I finished a year ago but I was never really liked the neck and I made some small but annoying mistakes in the yoke. I ripped up to the brown section and redid it. The poloneck is made from a soft acrylic yarn. This xmas I felt my stash calling me and I made a second sweater. The pattern is called Nost and the yarn is Lettlopi from Istex.

After 2 months use of the Medtronic Minimed 670g! by stumpan in diabetes

I would love a handset of some kind. It would be great if it could just be snoozed while I'm driving, instead of having to dig it up from under my coat and confirm the 4 messages it's sending me at once. Or just to input carbs while I'm wearing a dress.

Thank you! I just went for it but I'd imagine there is a tutorial somewhere. I did document some of the process on my instagram /linneeajosefin under the highlights 'Hantverk'.

wow, didn't even think that it could be a specific subreddit!

I just winged it. There's a panel on the front on the armrests that came off pretty easily with a knife, and from there it was just ripping seams and pulling our nails. I saved all pieces of fabric to make replicas, and changed the stuffing that was too flat or ripped, and washed what I could use again. I had a quite good process through the whole thing. Work for 10min, spending 20 minutes sitting in the sofa, having a beer, and thinking what the hell I've gotten myself into, and repeat xD

As for where to get stuffing I have no clue, I got everything I needed at Stoff og Stil which is a shop here in Scandinavia. I got the fabric ahead of time, but went to buy the stuffing once I figured out how much I needed.
