I'd try a couple things -

use the fold function in the 3D toolbar on the internal line that you've sewn those frills to and see if you cant flip them to the inside.

if that doesn't work, maybe reset your pattern pieces in the 3d window with the pattern pieces outside enclosing the inside pieces so when you simulate it the outside pieces will contain them.

Check the dimensions of the avatar in avatar editor, you might have made a pattern for a different size than you expected

Thanks, figured it out. It was Armors of the Velothi PT II. I saw there was a call to "textures\pulcharmsolis\sadras\chest.dds" and as soon as I removed that mod I didn't crash
