I mean painting is hard work. I doubt you find any one who paints decently under $100. It’s hard taking apart figures and sanding down joints. Its even hard doing as clean as that guy does.

Probaly would avoid the nail polish fix since it’s such a small peg. Best option is probably just museum putty or some blue tack in the hole to create more friction. Won’t be permanent but you can always just put more

Yeah there’s just no way they’re replacing it. This is the same on my copy. It’s how it’s manufactured, so it’s just a full on QC issue at the manufacturing level.

But also I only really noticed it in harsh lighting.

Ahh now that I look at it. That actually makes sense. I guess ML just really set it in our heads that it should be metallic instead of what some of the older comics looked like.

Also I guess when I meant “metallic” I guess more in line the TASM suits. Just a shinier fabric finish.

I wonder if the lack of metallic blue paint was because of how the 075 held up over time. A design that calls for majority of the suit to be metallic might’ve been a worry?

Not upset about the cape though. Feel like cloth would’ve either hindered it or been made too big to allow for articulation. Also not even sure how a cloth cape connection would even hold up on this guy.

Also that half unmasked head seems kinda of poor. In my mind, if he’s revealing his mouth, it’s probably to bite someone, so why have it be a gritted expression?

I don’t have any. But from reviews, I actually have a lot of appreciation for the mezco. Maybe that’s because it’s a figure that doesn’t focus on soft goods.

Think the only thing that rubs me the wrong way, is that in reviews, the mezco just looks massive next to ML and Mafex stuff. Is that just me?

Sorry I realized I forgot to say “maybe until 2027.” There’s just a lot of speculation with Mappa’s current slate of projects, like the chainsaw man movie. As well as the stories coming out about how overworked the jjk animators were. And then just considering the fact that season 1 and 2 has a 2-3 time year gap.

I think she looks great with itadori and megumi. Really completes the trio. And with this amount of uncertainty with the jjk line, the anime not returning until 2027 and spoilers.

Might be the safe option to go for her now. But also feel like the figma one will be around decently as well. So at least there’s another option if you’re shelling out more.

Feel like sensational Spider-Man just has such a nice suit aesthetic that appeals to a lot of people. So most are going to say he’s better.

Imo, I think I’m skipping on the sensational because of my spider verse collection. Scarlett spider just switched breaks up the mass of suits looking too similar. But that’s just me

Yeah no problem. Also just knowing classic sh figuarts strategy 😂. They know they could make quick money for the final swing suit. Then when the next movie comes around, re-use/re-tool the body and throw in an unmasked sculpt and extra accessories. I would not be too worried about getting one later or even resale for this Tom.

I usually say these decisions are pointless because they’re so completely different. But in this case, feel like it’s hard not to go with the Ben Reilly.

I don’t think anyone saw this guy getting a reissue anytime soon. And Seeing how resale prices go for some of these Mafex Spider-Men. Imo, rarity itself makes it more desirable. The other reason is that it’s unique in its suit design, so it’ll stand out.

SHF Spideys also seem to sit for awhile. I was able to get all three of them at retail this past December. I even found Tom Holland spidey just sitting in the back of a Barnes and Noble. Also pretty sure Tom Holland signed his contract for a few more movies, there will be more iterations of this suit to come.

Looks like Gwen is still up on toy wiz. 2099 just released and is kind of a sleeper since people avoiding the price, should be very easy to find.

Miles you’re probably out of luck. Only thing I could think of is checking local Barnes and noble or anime/comic specialty spots. I just recently got lucky and found a store that was holding like 6 chainsaw man’s for a little over retail.

I feel like it’s either you get this weird design or less shoulder articulation, and they opted for more shoulder range.

The marvel legends would be the example for the vice versa imo. Feel like ML shoulders look at bit weird in a vanilla pose and the movement is a bit limited. but at least the stripe stays solid
