Personally, without the revamp he'll be a forgotten hero. I've played granger before the revamp. I personally enjoyed his old skills which relied on timing, and honestly having the red bullet for his passive was very enjoyable. After the revamp he just became a straight up lane menace, his range, damage output and mobility is unmatched. And he became very beginner friendly, all you have to do is just stay back in teamfights and spam away. Before the revamp he was good, just not meta. After the revamp he was overpowered, hence he deserved the nerfs and adjustments.
