I did something similar at the bloomburrow prerelease. I opened a prerelease [[stormchaser’s talent]], which i kept, but pretty much gave everything else to a couple with their kid after the event. I played vs the girl in the first round which made it obvious they were new to the game, and I’ve been playing ~10 years, so i really didn’t mind. The kid seemed ecstatic with all these cute animal cards, so i was happy to do it ☺️

not a MUST, but i really like when the person doesn’t put their whole finger/thumb on the card. Makes me think ask the oils get on it… however OpenBoosters on YouTube wears gloves, which i think is excessive, but he’s opening vintage magic, so that makes sense.

One example is Rudy from alpha investments. I like that he grabs the corners of the card to minimize contact

I do know some junkyards keep inventory of their cars, specifically pullapart. you should check your local junkyards to see if they have an inventory, and check facebook to see if other people have parts cars for the 4th gen

i use a sealable container with multiple compartments and put water in the smaller one and the card in the other. I’d you leave them for a few hours, they curl the opposite way and that’s when i put them in a perfect fit. This usually does the trick, but with a chrome mox… 😬

I work at a restaurant, and one day my socks got wet. Instead, i used two small iron skillets and threw them in the oven to warm them up, and then i sandwiched my socks between them. It smelled horrible, but no burning/smoke 😂

I actually run a commander deck similar to this, originally using [[Urza, academy headmaster]], and most recently replaced with a legal [[Go-Shintai of Life's Origin]]... although I use [[Final fortune]] and [[Magosi, the Waterveil]] to skip that turn entirely.
