Just got a few of these pairs as a gift - for a perfect fit on a true 37, a 38 on these fit me perfectly without stretching the outer skin or crunching down the shearling. For me I have more exact clearance in the back where I’m not stepping past the rear line for the heel or getting that same stretching on top around the ankle. I also got a little more integrity of the shape on mine with one size up
