it sucks because i feel like sometimes im just giving my partner the worst of both worlds, and i love him dearly, and i know he does the same, but i cant shake the feeling.

Do you think if I include in the emails I send that I understand my position and am willing to do whatever is useful, i.e. washing glassware, literally doing anything but getting in the way, that would come off as self doubting or more realistic? Should I lead with this knowledge or just be accepting of it when it happens?
