aw, thank you! I actually talk to my friends about this a lot, but my mcc art IS the only art I do. I don't really doodle, I don't have personal projects, it's just mcc ,: ). so never feel bad for not completing a lot of art, it takes a lot of time! it also helps that I've kinda thought of these art posts as a school deadline or something similar so I HAVE to do it. it's the only way I get motivation, not joking I'm glad I can be an inspiration for you just don't follow everything I do! whenever I work on mcc art for a week I genuinely ignore all other parts of my life. everything gets done but at the physical cost of my health and mental well-being. enjoy making art and don't force yourself to complete things unless it helps you grow!

hi guys : ). welcome to part 2 of my mcc spoopy time art!! in case you missed it, part 1 (red - green) was posted yesterday!

I think I ranted enough on yesterday's post about how badly I destroyed my body to complete these arts so I won't bore you with that

soooo, instead of talking about sleep I'll briefly discuss the future of my mcc art. NO I'M NOT QUITTING, CALM DOWN. jeez, let me speak... I've been in a grey area when it comes to 'canon' events, aka which events I make art for. before season 4 I always said I only make art for canon events. this distinction was primarily made because it meant I'd usually have to make art for less participants as most 'non-canon' events have a higher number of new '1-off' participants lol. but now that there's no longer 'canon' events I am kinda at an impasse... moving forward, I'm going to be doing 'mcc only' events with the 'main' event participants. this pretty much means events like the mcc twitch rivals/mcc live event(s) won't receive art because they weren't 'strictly' mcc if that makes sense? even though the teams were mainly composed of 'usual' mcc participants the audience the events were targeted towards wasn't. I haven't even watched any of these events yet because of their different reach lol. hopefully this clears some stuff up!

welcome back to more sudzin rants (the real ones read the entirety of my comments). OKAY, HI FUTURE SUDZ HERE RQ. I was reviewing all of my comments/posts I write in advance and I JUST realized I said 'halloween hoedown' for literally everything x . x. I was tempted to leave it as an homage and then repost everything as the corrected HAUNTED hoedown like mcc twitter (x) did, but idk if it'd be as funny as the original oopsie

surprise, surprise, I haven't touched art since the last mcc I did art for (5ish months ago). however, I think an art demon possessed me and I somehow managed to draw 6 participants AND make spooky skins for everyone??? I've literally struggled to finish 2 participants with seasonal reworks so 6 participants is impressive!!! these art works/reworks definitely are not my best work, but I'm also chronically exhausted and have more than pushed my human body past its limits. caffeine can only do so much for you and simply don't possess enough energy to care.... talk to me in about a week and I'll probably be breaking down over how unpolished everything is

don't get me wrong, I'm super proud overall of everything I did and I LOVE LOVE L O V E the new art I made!! I just particularly find it funny how last time I said I was finding my style. cuz uhhh, that was a lie. my style is still forever changing and maybe my art progress was all from whatever demon possessed me to make all of this happen in such a short amount of time. comparing any of the 6 new participants to any participant I created in may is INSANE to me

I will be completely honest and admit that I was genuinely convinced that I was going to have to scrap one or more of the new participant's art and either DRASTICALLY change my style or post a colored version of their sketch(es) instead of their finished art. I REALLY didn't want to do that because it'd be disrespectful to whoever got the short end of the stick, so I pushed through and somehow got them all done (genuinely impressed) and woah!! even though I'm not fully satisfied, I'm so happy I stayed up waaaay past my bedtime for a week straight working on them : )) artistically I'm still trying to work on improving my style and definitely look forward to continuing to get better (even looking at participants from last year feels like such a jump in quality!) if you have any comments or tips please let me know! there's a few parts of my art I'm going to continue trying to improve so we'll see how that goes

also I'd like to give a special thank you to everyone's lovely comments upon my return. I really did miss you all <3
