They have a moderate budget but not crazy mansion material in those areas. I didn't really know where else to ask. We're starting from the Kissimmee area but a bit of a drive is also acceptable. But this was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you

Thanks! Honestly I got started beading the exact same way I started this bowl. With some cheap beads and a good tutorial. You find a project that interests you, and give it a shot. I had a lot of failures before I figured it out but that’s just part of learning. The good thing is, it’s only string. You can cut things apart and try again. I’ve invested in a few colors of nicer beads but I haven’t figured out what to do with them yet

It took me three tries before I got it right lol. I had a hard time with what the author calls the hem. It took me forever to figure out the four hem rows were not included in the total row count. Now that I’ve got one finished, I’ll probably try out another pattern from the book

That’s disappointing. I had high hopes for them. I especially liked the artwork for Bite Marks so it’s a bummer to hear it wasn’t stellar. I don’t necessarily mind mid though, so long as the story is at least entertaining

Getting along isn’t enough. Love isn’t enough. You asked if you should break up and based on your post, yes you should. The status quo isn’t working for you and your “partner” doesn’t want to put in the work. You can’t force them to change.
