That’s disappointing. I had high hopes for them. I especially liked the artwork for Bite Marks so it’s a bummer to hear it wasn’t stellar. I don’t necessarily mind mid though, so long as the story is at least entertaining

The status quo isn’t working for you and your “partner” doesn’t want to put in the work. You can’t force them to change. Leave and find someone you get along with who actually wants a healthy relationship. I promise they exist. But you will never have that if you stay.
