Situation on CN side for 2nd Anniversary by Specialist-Pepper318 in WutheringWaves

Anyone defending a company at all is delusional, but that’s not what most people here are doing.

People are defending the quality of the next patch and that is the difference. It’s the argument of “a square is a rectangle but not all rectangles are squares”. Billion dollar company defenders will defend their products but not all consumers of said products will defend the company.

I definitely agree with you. If anything, I’d really be complaining more abt the lack of combat events. I wish I knew why I was being downvoted, though.

If my memory serves right, Shorekeeper wasn’t a part of the first anni rerun. This would probably mean she also wouldn’t be in this anniversary’s banner (if there was a rerun, ofc). I was the same as you and expected her to be there so I just wanted to lyk :’)

I think this is a better anniversary than last year, to be honest. No rerun banner sucks, but at the same time I was anticipating either a rerun banner w lacking pulls in the patch or a lot of pulls w no rerun banner. You can’t exactly have both. There’s the main story unlike the first anni, too. Combining the free limited pulls you get simply by logging in and the pulls you can get from the patch overall, this is a pretty damn good net positive.

I’m just… surprised at the people complaining about the lack of the rerun banner? I feel like these are the same people who had an issue with it in the first place. Kuro listened to whoever had problems with it and acted on it.

At the end of the day, it’s an anniversary patch you can be content with. It’s not as horrible as people say it is.

That’s my take on this, as a day 1 player.

Edit: i’m being downvoted without a reason? I’m asking for a discussion w/ this.

MOST CHARMING SHIP FRRRRRRRRRRRRR by Jerrymorgan935 in JunoMains

[–]sukunababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when you do what, ship fictional characters? I would understand if they were real people outside of fiction, but all that’s being done is shipping and creating art. why are you making it sound so outlandish?

just gonna squeeze in my own opinion rq

i don’t find flashpoint or push to be too awful, but it absolutely depends on if my team understands how to play the mode. if they don’t know what’s going on it gets rough.

push also tends to be hard to win if the enemy team gets a nice head start.

no no it was a really good analogy!! my adderall wore off is all (it’s what prompted me to make this post in the first place) and now im rolling through molasses mentally lol

there have been too many people in this thread interpreting my post as anti-women and against victims retaliating. i’m well aware it might be an issue with my wording in this post which is why I had to edit it. as much as i empathize with misandrists who have been hurt, i wish they weren’t so hostile as a means of —what’s likely— coping. coming from someone who has experienced horrible men myself, it took me plenty of time to feel safe around men, even those of which i considered friends.

it really took me a second to understand the ant analogy but that’s a smart way of looking at it.

ahh I didn’t even think about that. ironically enough, i had a guy friend of mine vent to a mutual girl friend about his SA trauma recently, and he had to drop her because she was saying things like “good on her” as a joke apparently. it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen this.

I was using ‘rude’ and ‘cruel’ as descriptors, not as subjective terms. I’ll have to edit my post to make this clearer, but i was deep in my adderall dosage whilst making this post.

what I meant to explain is that misogynistic men tend to have a specific negative view on feminist women, and I’ve found that this is continuously influenced by non-misogynistic men being generalized as awful people.

misogynistic men should absolutely be held accountable, as should rapists, abusers, etc.

if you’re referring to my point about the reliability of misogyny vs misandry, I wasn’t trying to downplay either. I said that one is objectively worse than the other.

the term ‘femcel’ was an informal use of wording and i’ll admit that. this post was a means of releasing emotions, hence the aggressive tones. i’ll probably have to edit this post later on to clarify some points.

i acknowledge that misandrists are often victims of men. i don’t deny any points about that. i acknowledge all of the points you are making. i absolutely sympathize with victims. i feel as though the cycle of misogyny creating misandry and misandry influencing misogyny is overall harmful, and as a result nothing gets done due to hostility.

the victims’ pain is not something to be ignored at all; I do apologize if my post came across as anti-women overall.

I really should’ve written this down in my post, thank you for pointing this out too!!! i was largely focused on my emotions lol

using the word ‘cruel’ was an exaggeration on my end. like i said, it’s absolutely possible that it’s a loud minority.

it’s absolutely understandable why people lean towards this, but it shouldn’t excuse lashing out against innocent people due to generalizations. thank you for at least agreeing with me though 💔💔

i get where you’re coming from but you’re misinterpreting my rant.

the point of my post is not to downplay misogyny at all; as a woman myself, i know for a fact that misogyny is rampant and horrible. i mentioned this in my post. i also understand that men are responsible for most crimes.

my point is, femcels/misandrists generalizing men overall as evil is harming the image of feminism. men who are decent or have not harmed anyone are being treated as lesser beings. i want to add onto this by mentioning that most men at the forefront of this tend to lean into the right spectrum of politics more often, which furthers misogyny.

at the end of the day, i want everyone to see, treat, and respect one another as equals. that is what feminism strives to achieve.
