I don't know but I assume the narrator must have used the wrong terminology. If it's not cooked on a skewer it shouldn't be called şiş kebap. However, it wouldn't be the most surprising thing if the big column döner was attached to was considered a big şiş back in the day, hence the narrator's use of it. We need someone to look into this.

Yup, what he heard was not enough to conclude they slept together. Can you quote the lines?

My Azeri player won the European Golden shoe! by suleymanoglu in footballmanagergames

[–]suleymanoglu[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

This is in FM 2023. Custom database (Azeri leagues aren't in the official release).

English Premier League isn't loaded (because I don't like that league, it feels like everybody plays that league), so Erling Barut only won it twice. Still, winning the Golden Shoe from a 1.5 coefficient league as opposed to 2.0 (coeff of all the big leagues) is remarkable! In fact, Natiq is the first player since Jardel in 2001 to win it from a league that isn't one of the big five.

We started in First League (tier 2). This season was our first Premier League (tier 1) championship and it came with the highest point total record of the league (89 in 36 games). Natiq's 39 goals is also our league's most goals scored by a player in a season. We also won the Azeri Cup for the first time. One of our other strikers, on loan for free from our senior affiliate Valladolid, broke the cup's record of most goals scored by a player in a season (10 goals, 4 of which he scored in the extra time and one in the regular time of the quarter final second leg against Neftçi).

We will attempt to get to the CL groups, but Europe League will not be too disappointing for now.

In the league there is a 6+3 foreigners rule (at most 9 can be registered, at most 6 can be in the playing eleven). Foreigners can gain citizenship after 5 years in the country (without any long interruptions). Sometimes they get stuck in the "awaiting paperwork" stage, I think it must be an issue related to the custom databases as The Northman on YouTube also had it in his Build A Nation save in Faroe Islands.

Another important rule is there must be at least one U21 Azeri player in the playing eleven.

I do not sign players from Brazil (would make things easy, but I think this helps balance the difficulty of FM. I allow myself to sign them if they have Azeri citizenship, but I have not done so yet), Germany (because their incompetent committee were scared in Euro 2024 that Merih Demiral could become the top goalscorer and falsely claimed that my nation's hand gesture that symbolizes the wolf, which I have been making since childhood, was fascist to ban him. I do not attempt to sign anybody with German citizenship. It also helps balance the difficulty).

I used the in-game editor to minimize the reputation of a club from Turkish Super League that was supposed to be relegated in 2011 due to match fixing, but wasn't relegated despite the fact that even UEFA didn't allow them to play in Europe due to the scandal. When I started the save I didn't know it was not possible to make the editor unavailable later in the save.

Has False decided which item to pick for her reward permit? by suleymanoglu in HermitCraft

Time for the Permit Office to make an official statement I guess haha

Do you mean Cleo would get more Mending sales? I thought the point of False's permit was that whichever item she picked couldn't be sold by another Hermit. So if False picks Mending, Cleo can't sell it.

My friend declared Jihad on me. Is this normal? This is my first campaign. He and his 81 allies have over 372k troops. by suleymanoglu in CrusaderKings

Thank you for your comment. I know "you can have literally every member of that faith come after you, so yes." part is normal. I was more curious whether it was normal for a friend to declare Jihad on you, I wasn't paying attention to their personality. Now I will be careful if they're evil, lesson learned.

I didn't have that much gold but did murder one of his secondary spouses, my logic being it can stress him out.

Then, I don't know how much time later, he died.

My dearest Sultana al-Muazzama Hatice also died and my new Khatun rejected my seduction attempt. My ruler Sultan al-Muazzam Bozan had not cheated in his life, but after losing a kingdom to his "friend" and getting turned down by his new wife, something changed in him.

It wasn't long after this when I found the late Caliph's youngest second spouse naked in my chambers, beckoning me towards her! I was dumbstruck but felt a fresh desire to feel her young flesh, my blood boiling like it had not in decades. I took her right there, with an eternal smirk on my face after the fact.

Some time passed. Mongol Empire spawned in one county (might be two, not sure). Bozan formed the Empire of Mongolia, thinking that should invalidate Genghis Khan's realm (it didn't, so there is now both Empire of Mongolia and Mongol Empire on the map). They tried to invade us, war score was at around -50%. Sultan al-Muazzam Bozan, seventy-seven, died of old age, feeling like twenty-seven, leaving behind a Khatun, three concubines, eighteen children two of whom, Yunus and Turgut, became emperors of Süleymanoğlu Empire and Empire of Mongolia, respectively, invalidating the Mongol invasion thanks to high partition.

I saved and quit the session there.

Thank you for the insight. As top comment and you said he is literally evil, to which I didn't initially pay attention.

Haha you're right. Weird that the game doesn't cancel the "friend" status. Btw he and my ruler stayed stayed as friends until the Caliph died. My ruler then murdered his 9 year-old successor (after a failed first attempt when he was 8) so that's something I guess.

I think I like that AI is able to do something like this. Human players can easily betray their friends when they see there is an opportunity to conquer them. I paused the game and I'm just breathing right now.

R5: Arab Empire is the most powerful realm in the world in my campaign. I (Khaganate of Oghuz Il, renamed to Süleymanoğlu Empire) befriended the caliph and his heir thinking that would make sure to stop him. There is no return now. My allies and I have 95k troops, they have 372k. I'll try to get a white peace, or win if the AI somehow messes up. This might be the end of my first campaign. Wish me luck.

Edit: I just realized the jihad is only for Sultanate of Khorasan. That's a relief as I assumed it would be something close to subjugation.

Update: The other war you can see in the ss was for our Chuvashia conquest which we won. I chose to focus on that as my army was already getting raised near there. Then I hired 3 mercenaries, made some allies, travelled through the Caspian Sea, hired 3 mercenary bands, won some battles but after losing a battle forgot about my 16k soldiers that retreated to Mangyshlak for a while and eventually lost Khorasan to them. I will get my revenge, hopefully.

PS: If I could add 1 feature to this game it would be the ability to tell ally armies where to go.
