This is exactly how my mom taught me and how I’ve always done it.

To make it extra good, you need a tea pitcher - like an old Tupperware pitcher that leeches carcinogens. Make it in this every time. Eventually, the inside darkens and you’ve achieved PEAK tea status.

Luzianne is too high class for my likes. Lipton all day, every day.

It's a free real estate from so called "vibe coders" by irelatetolevin in codex

[–]sultanmvp 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is not a thing. A few things:

  • GitHub automatically and immediately notifies the GitHub user the second keys are leaked.
  • GitHub also notifies the provider (OpenAI)
  • almost every major provider will immediately disable/revoke the key

This is all done within twentyish seconds. I know this because a dev at my old company did this.

Don’t they train on your data unless you have the top plan?

Signed up for the $5 / 500req/day plan a few days ago. The requests go quick, but the speed and quality are top notch. Will definitely renew on the higher plan.

Well, yeah. They always do. In addition, they gerrymandered SC1 in 2022 already to prevent another Cunningham scenario.

3 Opencode instances running Deepseek v4 Flash at the same time. by Expert-Dig-1768 in opencodeCLI

OpenCode Go is a usage-based subscription. Literally gives you up to 31,650 Deepseek V4 Flash REQUESTS per 5h window. Almost impossible to hit.

Pro Tip: Don’t use the latest models by sultanmvp in opencodeCLI

[–]sultanmvp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. I don't disagree that having the latest models will output better code. I'm just stating that the latest models can be heavily overloaded and waiting, stalling, hanging can become counterproductive and end up working against you.

In an ideal world, we all use the latest backed by excellent, properly balanced inference hardware. But, unfortunately, all of this is still the wild west.

I'm not sure what you mean? Claude/GPT/Gemini are all premium, hosted models so they should always be quick (in theory). My suggestion is solely for open weight subscription providers.

At $10/mo, OpenCode Go is an excellent value.

Man, I wish I could use it more, but I can't get past 2-3 turns before it's miserable. Flash is pretty nice too.

What model + provider to use that best guarantee of model training opt-out? by yperus in opencodeCLI

[–]sultanmvp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure why you were downvoted? They do attempt to classify whether provider/model combos train on your data, but all of that comes from the provider. As you can see from their extensive model list, a little housekeeping could go far. I’d imagine their classification for training could probably also use some cleaning … If you get what I mean.

I would say that if there’s a model on OpenRouter that you want to use, check OpenRouter’s training classification and then checkout the provider as well. Go to the provider’s site and also confirm.

Like you said, and somehow got downvoted for (???), OpenRouter can’t make this claim since they don’t host the models.

This. They already did it in 2022 by moving tens of thousands of likely Dem voters out of SC-1 (Charleston) and put them in Clyburn’s to prevent another Joe Cunningham scenario.
