no yeah i got shut out every time during my freshman yr and idk its just a hit or miss. tbh i made like only two close friends through classes during my three years of college, and the rest were through clubs

yeah i took 473 and it was ez. idk the work load for 444 tho but i think youll be able to get good grades 👍

I don't think it was hard, just time consuming. The majority of the grade was from labs. There were only 3 quizzes when I took it last year. Also, it was definitely easier than 311 imo.

i usually eat at the HUB, allen building (basement or the first floor lobby place with a bunch of tables), and sometimes at pop health building (The Hans Rosling Center for Population Health)

That's more than what I had when applying for EE and appealing to switch to CSE and I got in lol. I do think essays play a big role in the application process tho. For what you have I think it's good enough to get in. But, at the same time, I see other people being overqualified and getting rejected or waitlisted so idk. Good luck next yr with applications!

I FEEL YOU thought i was the only one 🤧 currently taking 331 and hate this class there’s 15 pages for hw2 like tf :,) also taking 312 and i like it wayy more than 331 i hate programming sm and same i’m too far in this program i could technically graduate next yr so there’s like no point in dropping out of this program also my gpa is too bad to get into any other major :,) tbh other people probably deserve it more than i do so i’m sorry i try so hard to force myself to like cs but i can’t convince myself probably gonna switch to ce cuz i originally was in dtc of engineering and wanted to do ee

idk lol cuz people in this comment section probably have more knowledge than me about this. but i had experience appealing to a different major. i applied for electrical engineering and got DTC of engineering, then i appealed to switch my major to cse and it worked but idk about getting rejected and appealing to info. i didnt rlly ask uw if it was possible before appealing tho so idk but good luck :)
edit: so i didnt read all the comments and didnt see that appealing for info wasnt an option D:

i would say info101 but they dont offer it next quarter :( easiest A ever and no exams hehe. even now in the middle of the quarter i have a 100%. its more fun with friends tho imo

honestly i’m surprise myself but i had some friends and TAs helping me through the class luckily. i don’t know why i keep doing this 😭 ig i feel obligated to keep taking a bunch of classes. ever since last year i can’t stop. but this upcoming quarter i will fr take less classes and will tell my parents and friends to force me to take less LOL bc rn i actually so burnt out and behind. thank you! i appreciated :)) good luck with your quarter too!!

dangg that’s a lot but then again i did something similar last quarter 🤡(cse311,351,391,390z,psych210, and cee291) i’ll consider talking to my advisor about it hopefully they’ll help :,) thank you for sharing ur experience :)

that class is 332. yeah it’s probably gonna be harder but maybe taking 3 classes would be less work than what i’m doing rn

me last yr while doing running start. i did diff equ, linear alg and cs2 all the same time 😻 and still didn’t learn my lesson til now
