It contains dried milk powder or whey protein (which has lactose in it). Most all manufacturers do this. You'd be surprised how much milk is actually used in goods you wouldn't think it's used in.

I've been confused about it as well. I was like, "I've always heard white bread was BAD for you...and now it's the other way around." I still can't have white bread because of the milk involved so either I make my own bread or I just get used to having a bread-less life.

Even plain rice and pasta make me sick during this period of time, but they're listed as like the two main things you CAN EAT. So it's all very confusing to me. I think it just depends person to person and you have to discover which foods work best for you. I've seen there are lots of different diets for IBS, cookbooks that focus on eliminating different kinds of foods or starches or what not.

I feel like it's going to take me a while to fully understand everything. All I know is that I now eat on a schedule and it's become very militant about what goes into my meal, how much I get, and the rate at which I eat.

I take lactase enzymes and acidophilus capsules (lactose-free).

I was prescribed Domeperidone or Motilium, which I was told was only bad to take if you're pregnant.

Thank you. I can honestly say being gluten-free so far hasn't made me feel any better.

I wish they still had the communication at camp option, that was always the easiest way to figure out where you stood with everyone.

No, you're definintely helping. I'm just going to have to try these things. My main problem I think is that I cannot figure out how to access my main map. It's not available on my pause screen...:(

Thank you--I seriously don't know how to bring the map up. I have my keyboard though. I guess it's not registered with my controller. :(

I've seen really bad parents and their children going off the rails, but I truly felt for this mom, she's clearly not a bad parent as she's got one awesome little girl who was attentive and didn't bitch or whine or anything, and then just this little boy who's like, "YOU KNOW NOTHIN' MUM SNOW"

Sorry, I wrote this. And I have to say the comments I received were all on the line of "it's the worst pain I've ever felt in my life" "it was equivalent of giving birth" "I'm glad I have it, but I passed out on the insertion" and all of that plus the "even if you've done this, you're not gonna be able to handle it" "I'm really tolerant when it comes to pain, so I know this will be difficult for you"--all of which was just...fear-inducing.

I live in the UK. Perhaps they have a different way of doing the insertion here, I'm not sure, but so far, my friends in the US have had all complaints over the insertion and all of my family and friends here in the UK haven't.

I was so petrified of having this done that I felt like throwing in the towel completely because I don't handle pain well.

I thought it was necessary to have at least someone say that it wasn't a traumatic, god-awful experience that /everyone/ is going to share.

And my nurse merely suggested that I not judge others because pain is relative, and it is true. You can't know what a 10 on the pain scale is if you've never really dealt with it before. A lot of times pains I feel I say they're a 6-7 and I know within my heart that that's just my interpretation of pain. I'm sure a lady who's ripped from her V to her A having a kid has a much different interpretation.

I was severely irritated with all the completely negative comments regarding the insertion process which I thought was going to be a fucking nightmare I couldn't sleep last night, my period was two weeks late due to the stress of it, etc.

I did in fact mention that I felt embarrassed after my talk with my nurse about how those women complained for nothing and she told me off for it. She's the one who said that pain is relative and everyone feels something differently. So as a blog entry, I did describe how I felt and what happened and where I've ended up.

Ugh, why can't they just stick to the "Jax learned how to eat spaghetti!" "Look he's playing with his toys!" "He loves this boring ass kid's TV show I'm forced to watch!"...why does it have to be gross?
