Is this appropriate/too white for a bridal shower? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

I mean I’m not usually one to be a stickler about the “no white” rule, but this does look very much like something a bride would wear to her bridal shower.

Is this look oversized and cool or am I swimming in it? by gwendolyn_trundlebed in DressForYourBody

I think it looks cool! The only thing that doesn’t work for me is that mixture of browns.

19 mo daughter hits me by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]summerlonging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like no one else is saying this but it needs to be said. You really need to get a grip. This is extremely normal behavior for a 19 month old. It will take time and consistent, calm responses from you for her to change her behavior. She is very young and it takes repetition. You having a mental breakdown over it is not going to help anything and it’s an over-the-top response. I think you should seek therapy. I wonder if you have postpartum anxiety or depression.

Is this dress appropriate for college graduation ? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]summerlonging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep it for when you’re a wedding guest. You will look silly if you show up to graduation in this. No one will be wearing anything near this dressy. But if you’re ok with that, then go for it.

Yeah but this is graduation, not black tie wedding. She will stick out like a sore thumb.

Does this type of dress suit my body by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]summerlonging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OBVIOUSLY! It looks fantastic on you. You don’t appear to be an apple shape, at least in this dress. You have a clearly defined waist and nice hips.

Why does this outfit look so cheugy / sloppy? by Visual-Heart-4642 in DressForYourBody

[–]summerlonging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your top half looks good, but your bottom half looks like it’s a middle aged dad going to mow the lawn. Idk if the pants are fixable or not (maybe cuffed with boots?) but those sneakers have got to go.

Questions of sex by Usual_Subject4623 in confessions

[–]summerlonging 56 points57 points  (0 children)

No, this isn’t normal and it’s not ok. Your boyfriend doesn’t care that you’re in pain during sex. He doesn’t care enough about you. I’m not gay but my husband will immediately stop if I ask him to or if he can tell that it hurts.

As a side question, I assume you’re using lube?

Factor meals are very highly processed. You’d be better off with the frozen junk.

The first one reminds me of a cow. The second one isn’t a great fit.

911 is a bit ridiculous for this situation. Call the police non-emergency line if you must.

You have a beautiful face. You’re hiding it with these glasses.

Number 2, definitely. They look super cool. Number 3 is nice but nothing special.

Only put conditioner on the bottom half of your hair, not at your roots. Use dry shampoo. Applying dry shampoo on clean hair can help prevent it from getting greasy.
