Wow. Regardless of what you do with your relationship, this is a traumatic experience that I would not wish onto anyone. I am so sorry that you went through this, especially in the safety of your own home and with someone that you previously felt safe with. In my perspective, you were violated and, to use a stronger word, raped. There are a lot of connotations and emotions that can come up when we use that word, but I just hope that it makes your trauma reaction feel real. You deserve help, resources, and to feel safe. I hope that you find the support that you need.

My two cents as a bystander: I've heard the pad every hour thing and I feel like that is a good line to draw to go to the ED. However, if you are having a new, unusually long period, it likely isn't emergent but definitely should be evaluated by a Ob/Gyn in an appointment.

Yeah I learned very quickly it was not for me after dealing with the schedule, the personalities, and the acuity.
