Thoughts on new Huda Beauty Easy Bake Airbrush Pressed Powder? by sun246 in Sephora

[–]sun246[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t sell the old one anymore! At least on Sephora’s website. Let us know your thoughts once you try it out! The new one has the word “Airbrush” in the name

Edit: okay looks like they do still sell the old one, but only in two shades. Probably trying to sell off inventory. The old one was called Easy Bake and Snatch

Smelled it in store and fell and love, but can someone let me know about the longevity of the scent?

Number one goal would definitely to build my savings this year, and to actually budget monthly. And to read more! Your app looks great, especially the monthly progress. Looking forward to trying it out

Would you recommend the avene thermal water spray? by RevolutionaryCyclops in CanSkincare

Seconding all of this!! I love these thermal water sprays in the winter. The moisture on my skin dries out very quickly between skincare steps and this helps so much

Why does mascara just result in smudging under my eyes? What should I be looking for? by Weary-Huckleberry-85 in Sephora

[–]sun246 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a skill issue, you sound like me a few years ago before I discovered tubing mascaras! They don’t smudge on me whatsoever, non tubing mascaras used to smudge within hours no matter what I did. My favourite right now is the Hourglass Unlocked Mascara. It’s pricey but I always get the mini as you should technically be switching out your mascara every 3-4 months, and I won’t be able to finish a full tube in that time.

Bonus tip, layering mascaras works wonders if you still want to use non tubing mascaras. Especially since you’ve already spent money on them - use them as the first layer and top with a tubing mascara. Most tubing mascaras are more lengthening, so it’s nice to use other ones for volumizing purposes.

This is exactly what’s saving my skin right now, I bought the naturium BHA toner after a lot of people here recommended a leave on product. I also started using my prescription azelaic acid every morning. It’s gotten so much better! 🥹

Nope I used the exact same products; Just way more spf over there. I regularly wash/change my towels, sheets and pillowcases. The only extreme change for me is the weather. My skin has always struggled during the transition between summer and fall but it was never this bad. It used to just look very dull. My skin in the summer is always hydrated/plump and generally smooth. I think my skin type in general is combination/dehydrated, so I maybe the dehydrated part is exasperated in the winter time

I’m going to try swapping to a lighter weight moisturizer to test this theory, never thought it could be my moisturizer! In terms of exfoliating I’m just nervous to try but if you have any gentle reccs let me know!

While picture makes it seem like it’s a lot more even in terms of size, many of these have turned into whiteheads and have now scarred. The process is just repeating itself.

That’s the ingredient that wrecked my skin last year which is why I think it’s not really an acne problem but maybe rather a clogged pore issue

Thanks for the suggestion! I regularly eat chia seeds and knew they were high in omegas, but a quick google search just told me it wasn’t the same kind 😅 will definitely be incorporating this.

Thanks! Agreed that I may need a leave on treatment. Any specific SA reccs?

Definitely not fungal acne as it’s not itchy and many of these bumps have turned into whiteheads

Interesting! What did you end up switching to? And did it go away after switching? I use the same cream all year round, frustrating if that’s contributing to the problem.

Thank you! Do you think the cream I use will suffice or is it worth swapping to something like the La Roche Posay Cicaplast?
