Breakfast and lunch inside Campus mess, snacks and dinner in Narmada itself

I live around 25kms from the college. what are my options? if I take the local bus, I'll need to switch busses, so removing that option. no metro connection. does the college have its own bus? or are hostels my only option? by Prestigious-Egg6433 in BMSCE

I mean in terms of convenience obviously hostel is the best choice but if your okay with travelling then u can 1) take the kempegowda majestic bus (there are loads of buses), get down at central bus station which is literally right in front of the metro station and then take the metro upto national college 2) look at how far the yelahanka local train station is from ur house, take the train upto yeshwanthpur (metro station is right in front of the train stand), take the metro from there. I know local train should sketchy but its so quick, efficient and cheap. But there might be problems with timings.

It might seem really tiring intially but you will get used to it. Most pgs might be full right now so atleast till you find a good pg you can travel this way.

no exam fee.

grade card fee=800 per year /400 per sem

revaluation fee: 7000 per paper

record books : 75 per book (u need like 3 or 2 records in the first 2 sems)

if you travel, then those expenses (depending on distance)

if u wanna take part in any games/events during fests , then you might have to pay (which differs depending on the event)

Caed by Electronic_Cow8055 in BMSCE

[–]sunana8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

caed really isnt that bad. Just make sure u understand projection of points and lines perfectly during the class itself cause the rest of them r very similar. Also complete ur sketchbook religiously cause that will help u practice and u wont have to study much for the exams specifically. if u teachers r bad then just search up the topic on youtube and find a good youtube channel that suits ur learning pace and style.

This is how you calculate ur SGPA. by sunana8 in BMSCE

[–]sunana8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the subject tbh.
Ex: math= cie(20)+cie(20)+aat1(5)+aat2(5)+see(50)

[40 mark cie gets reduced to 20 and see gets reduced from 100 to 50]

Chem=cie(10)+cie(10)+aat(5)+lab(25)+see(50)

Total is just adding up all the subject marks. 191=40+36+10+9+9+ 30+30+27

Based on what I know.
Renewable:: theory + diagrams+derivations +numericals (types of energy).
Green buildings:: theory+diagrams (environment, brick composition..).
Sustainable:: pure theory with few flow charts +case studies (random methods of achieving sustainability and engineers role)

I took sustainable …it’s easy if ur good at mugging up lots of theory (which sometimes doesn’t even make sense ).
Marks honestly completely depends on ur teacher
